I wouldn't mind 1 of these but it's just 500GB. I recently purchased a 2tb portable for £45 so gonna wait for memory increase and price decrease.

where from?

The price comes from the Wifi functionality -- I have a friend who has a similar device stores content on it and accesses it from his iphone/ipad when on trips. 500Gb is better than the small and expensive Apple memory..

Given Ebuyer sell for £156 and next cheapest is £97, then surely it's a hot deal ?

It even looks to be compatible with a coffee cup according to this marketing picture

link?

they are £70 for 2tb in the amazon warehouse let alone brand new... and this has wifi built in, pretty good for the price!

If you have an existing drive then something like the HooToo portable router has worked very well for me

The 1 I bought for £45 was a normal 3.0 which has now gone up in price since: amazon.co.uk/gp/…1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1490360721&sr=8-3π=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=verbatim+2tb&dpPl=1&dpID=511%2B86EFgbL&ref=plSrch

But that's not wireless.

This is a decent price not a bad price.
I think people who voted cold for this do not realize that this is a "WIRELESS" small form factor hard drive not an ordinary 3.5" drive.

I had one of these - the software is quite flaky, it keeps dropping the connection. Also the drive has a USB2 interface so it takes an age to populate the drive with media from a PC. Nice price, but avoid, I'd say.
