thanks to you both your very kind

Doesnt look like a high quality toolbox.
Tools are cheap rubbish.

£121.90 with delivery. similar deal ]here for £117.40 including delivery. The toolbox by itself can be found for about £70 even though the sealey site says it's rrp is £199.69

Also ]classic car world toolshop have these items and do a price promise of a refund for 110% of the difference including vat and delivery. Thats 0.4p cheaper:oops:

Similar toolbox is £30 in argos, dont think this is a very good deal

argos.co.uk/sta…htm

Similar deal here:
toolcrew.co.uk/php…BO7
Price £114.95 Inc. VAT I think the delivery is £5.95 incl (don't think it's above 30Kg so will be this much).
So delivered price £120.90.
No quidco but they have a loyalty scheme with 100 points = £1 off your next purchase, and you get 98 points for this item...

Sorry - voted cold. the comparative price to elsewhere isn't bad, but having bought this for my husband last year (from HIS recommmendation!) and the tools are not that special. Its a 'poor mans' version of SnapOn Tools - so bear that in mind - you get what you pay for

Hmm Buy cheap tools buy twice is what I say. No matter what job you are doing and whether you use it regularly or not its always worth paying that extra and getting decent tools.

Sealey tools are perfectly adequate for the hobbiest, you have to spend a lot lot more (Teng, Snap-On etc..) for proper garage tools but then they are used every day and form part of peoples livelyhoods.

The Argos toolbox someone mentioned is total rubbish I'm afraid - you'd be better off hanging a piece of MDF to the wall and hammering in nails to hold your tools.

I personally think that this is a good deal.

This really is a case of you get what you pay for.
Better off buying a Stanly toolbox for around £20 and then go to a motor factors and ask some advice from the assistantsand get some decent tools for the other £100
Not a good deal at all
People need to check out the items first before posting, rather than seing a reduction and automatically assuming that there is a deal to be had

Hey guys,

Not wishing to pour cold water on it, but Sealey do promos like this all the time. They price from OP is only 45p cheaper than the Sealey promo price. You could get it from your local Sealey distributor and save the carriage charge. Alternatively, google the package code - one of the first results I got returned was this ]http//ww…BO7

Don't know what the deilvery is, but is it's below £20, then it's still cheaper than OP.

Nice spot, though, and good job of letting everyone know.

I'm sorry but that statement is just daft. Course they are a poor mans "Snap-on Tools" you'd be hard pushed to buy the spanner set from Snap-on for any less than this whole package!!

Sealy tools are good decent tools. I built most of my kit car using Sealey stuff and it proved more than reliable. As long as your not cack handed and go at everything with a hammer and a file then they are fine

Cheers

Dave

they look like tools you would get in a childs playset, RUBBISH!!

So from one small photo you have come to this decision based on no apparent physical knowlegde, expertise or practical application.

I'm sorry but that is such a completely pointless first post, I can't believe that after a year of being registered you felt the need to make it.

I did however enjoy your attempt at sarcasm, no matter how missplaced it was.
