I've the full black and red retro chest myself. Great quality bit of kit. I know this may be on the expensive side for some but this isn't comparable to a cheap Halfords set.

This is an absolute steal, it's usually £300+ with an RRP of £468!

I only see one in stock but once it's sold I'm not sure if it'll let you pre-order.

Here's links for the other sections if you want to make it a full set. The links are for Dennis Wilsons of Glenavy. Good service and the items are likely to be shipped directly from sealey.

2 Drawer Mid Box @ £169
4 Drawer Roll Cab @ £311

The total for the full kit is £669. I've never seen the full kit this cheap! If you're VAT registered business after claiming the VAT back this could should workout to £557.50

Looks pricey TBH, can buy a new rear tyre for that and still have some beer tokens left
You're right, you cant compare this to a Halfords cheap set, but you can compare it to their Advanced rabge which has the same spec at a cheaper price of £515 for a roll cab, mid and top chests which offer more capacity.

Admittedly they aren't retro blue or say 'Sealey' on the side so don't have that cool factor.

The Halfords advanced kit still isn't up to the quality of this sealey range. Trust me I compared a lot of cabinets before choosing one. Nor do the Halfords ones have latch's for opening the drawers.

It's not uncommon to hear of the Halfords sets being damaged before use. Every time I looked at their cabinets in-store they were out of shape and some of the drawers weren't running properly.

I'd say the Halfords advanced is suitable for regular home use but I wouldn't consider it a range for professionals.

Yes it costs a little more but is superior quality and brand. And as you mentioned has the retro styling and paintwork. You could get a cheaper sealey set that would compare to the Halfords advanced range. For this range this is an excellent price. I had a feeling it would go could with people comparing it to poorer quality sets.

Fair enough, though to be clear I didn't vote cold as it's a quality bit of kit

Cheers. It's out of stock now and upto £302 again so hopefully the deal helped someone.
I own both the Sealey and the Halfords Advanced - I can honestly say the Halfords chest wins hands down on both features and quality. The cable access alone of the advanced makes it a winner... That and the fact the Sealey doesn't even have gas lifters!

Further, 90% of the Sealey range is generic trash, so make sure to do your research

We'll have to agree to disagree. The Halfords one always seemed a bit flimsy to me. A lot of play in the drawers and what not.

I've no need for cable access. Don't need gas lifters either, don't know why anyone would to lift a light lid. It's one less thing to go wrong and easier closed lol. However I do like the lift and latch on the sealey.

Yes I would agree about the cheaper sealey stuff, I wouldn't go near it. Much like the low end cabinets from any manufacturer.
