Seems a solid PSU

Amazon link says it hasnt been released yet bus on the Overclockers website theres a review dated 2010 Here

Tempted to order one to go with my MSI X570 godlike thats never gonna turn up

Other website saying its an end of life product, but there a 12yr warranty so not a bad purchase imo.

Take amazons reviews with a pinch of salt as they usually combine different model PSU reviews amongst each other.

Man i really desperately wanted to invest in the Ryzen 3000, but i cant now i know the 4000 desktop CPU's are on the horizon.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. I figure I have to take the plunge now though, maybe catch a good odd deal, otherwise it's going to be at least half a year before I do a full build. I'm done waiting!
Ordered, not that I need 1000W, but it's Titanium, it's Seasonic, has 12 year warranty and it's a great price. Double checking the specs for Titanium/Platinum, 1000W Titanium should be at least as efficient at normal loads as 850W Platinum.
  • 80 Plus Platinum: 90% efficiency @ 20% load; 92% efficiency and power factor of 0.95 @ 50% load; 89% efficiency @ 100% load.
  • 80 Plus Titanium: 90% efficiency @ 10% load; 92% efficiency and power factor of 0.95 @ 20% load; 94% efficiency @ 50% load; 90% efficiency @ 100% load.
12 years warranty!!
When this was available for pre-order for a similar low price, the orders were cancelled after a week or two.

To quote BSG: "All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again."
The Best PSU at a Bargain price HOT!!

Tom's Hardware Conclusion
'Seasonic's engineers created the best analog platform that money can buy, and it'll be difficult for any other manufacturer to achieve higher performance levels without using digital circuits.'
Get a power monitor to test your usage now... My 1060 (3GB) with 24GB 3000hz RAM and Ryzen 7 2700, 4 harddrives and one SDD rarely goes above 250 watt,
I just got a free Gigabyte 750w 80+ Gold with my Master Motherboard. Am tempted now for this, any thoughts?

I'm going excessive because I need a power supply for my build -- nothing to carry over, none sitting around. The titanium, as highlighted above, is a good future proofing choice even if your wattage requirement isn't as high as this provides because of its improved efficiency at low loads. I also like the idea of very clean power going into my new components and the reviews seem to indicate quality power being supplied.

You definitely don't need it unless you are running multiple high-end GPUs at the same plus a 3950X.
Don't bother you will not get this psu I ordered this model a few weeks back and waited nearly 6 weeks and then got a cancelled order email from Amazon. A complete waste of time.

Not only that this is an obsolete model and Amazon will not get them in as seasonic have stoped making them as they have been replaced with the new 2019/2020 models that just come out.

Yeah I hear ya, it's a complete punt with the likelihood to disappoint but hey I'm not out any money so I don't mind.
9900k, 2080ti, 4 rgb ram sticks, 19 fans (7 rgb), 6 rgb strips, 2 pumps, 4 ssds...just under 600 watts running prime95 AVX. Stays around 450/500 watt while gaming.

mmm, my thoughts exactly but what about resale value? PSU flip game?
Well, I have ordered one... Hopefully everyone who did get an order in for this gets lucky with this price and the orders don't get cancelled.. Fingers crossed. I'm not too fussed if it doesn't go through though as I already have a Corsair RM650 80+ gold that I am using which will do me for now.

I was looking to buy either the Corsair AX850 or the Seasonic 850 Prime Ultra as they are both pretty much identical as the Corsair is based on the Seasonic titanium OEM. So this 1000w for £20 less than what the AX850 and £45 less than what the AX1000 is right now is a great deal!

I have checked my bank account and I have not been charged anything as of yet so it seems like they aren't taking payment untill it is dispatched (that is if they don't cancel the order down the line).

I ordered a week ago and haven’t been charged
No longer available to pre order
Just got an email from amazon saying its been cancelled 😪
Yep I had the same a while back before this offer as I posted it as well and never got it. I don’t know why amazon re advertised it as they know full well that they would not send it.

I bought the seasonic prime GX-850 2020 model instead as I was sick of waiting

Same here, Disappointed but kind of expected it. Next PSU on my list is the Corsair AX1000 or the AX850. The 850 is only 178.47 right now so not a terrible price but also not amazing compared to this. Good thing about the AX850 and 1000 is that they use the same oem as this prime ultra titanium psu but only 10 years of warranty.... HAH, 'ONLY' 10 years...
This is back up for pre order on amazon... so that’s the 3rd time they’ve listed it
