This is the new Cupra 300ps. A huge amount of power for the price. (Ultimately a poor man's Golf R).

10k miles.

Monthly: £215.98
Initial: £2400
Fees: £239.99

Less mileage also available.
DSG is around £500 more.

I thought so too, especially as it's a brand new model.
Maybe HUKDers know something I don't?
Poor man's Golf R you say but I'm sure the Golf R has been had on here for considerably less than £7k

Not really comparable - the Golf R is AWD. This isn't, unless you get the ST version with DSG.

Fair enough. This probably sits somewhere in between a GTI and an R.

Indeed - not a bad car of course, although driving it on UK roads will be interesting.
just get it on the track
Forever wheel spinning. Went from the golf r to the 290 cupra, launches like a pig. Could imagine it's worse with the 300 cupra. Seems like it's £100 a month dearer than what I paid... very cold!

Comparable on price

Comparable on price

Not really. Cheapest Golf R deal I can find at the moment is this:

...which equates to £9,013.12 or £375.55/net/mth.

Never gonna be as good as awd, but change the tyres the standard ones are ****

from a rolling start the cupra has the edge on the golf I know because I have both cars, but yes I'd take the golf all day long
What tyres do you recommend? Don't get me wrong it's a nice car, could imagine it is a little quicker. Look great too. But would not recommend coming from a awd

Is that a good price, bad price or average price for the golf R ? My GTD goes back in August so im starting to look around to get an idea of prices. I know there was crazy deals going round last year I think, but I cant see that happening again. I see your name pop up on the lease deals, so I'm thinking you know your stuff

I don't think it's a good deal personally. Others may think otherwise.

Start to look around May time. You still have another six months to go and by then hopefully your lease provider will give you a bell to start flogging you some new stuff.
