Yes you can buy cash at this price, or fund via bank loan etc

The same spec polo would cost approx £14K with this spec.

I like buying brand new cars.... and bikes. I dont care that i lose a fortune in depreciation.
I penny pinch on everything else, just so i can afford brand new vehicles.

Me too, you can't beat that brand new feeling.
Anyway..... seems a good deal to me. Just over half what i paid for my Focus.
Heat added.... although i know nothing about Seat's and never owned one.
Our last 3 cars have been Brand new.
Yes you lose money but buy extra peace of mind. No MOTs for 3 years, warranty, etc.

The trick is to buy the cheapest deal for the car your after.
Our 51 Plate Fiesta was the last of it's run, 54 Plate Focus again was last of the older style. Then our 09 Civic was to subsidised with an old Rover 800 that was scrapped as part of the goverment scheme.

I would say this is a decent deal.

Maybe, but i bet the Seat depreciates at a much higher rate.

Not by much
My wife bought an Ibiza a few years ago because she drove mine and loved it.
I bought one because they were, by a mile, the best spec'd cars for around £10k.

Sales and customer service staff were always crap and the service and parts are expensive (especially the 4th year one). Infact. I now own a Civic which was more expensive but miles cheaper to run.

Would I buy Seat again?......Hell yeah. especially the sports versions.

seats are ok to drive, not sure about this engine, always had a 1.9 diesel, tho not keen on the leon pedal positions, the pedals are more to the right of the car than normal, its weird!
the anti dazzle/ auto dimming mirrors are usually £200 extras! Nice deal for such a car.

I still want the new 3 series BMW though oO

what about the sportrider edition for £500 more:

seat.co.uk/con…tml

17" alloy wheels

Bluetooth

Climate control

Rain-sensing wipers

Auto headlights

Rear parking sensors

Sports seats and suspension

MP3-compatible CD player with Combined USB port and AUX-in

Looks a nice car!
I bought this car in March 2011 when it was branded "Chill" instead of "Copa".

Great little car for the price and spec. Would highly recommend.

If you can be bothered to haggle and dig your heels in at an official dealer you can get more money off the £9995 price tag as well.
Had an Ibiza Sportrider for 3 years from new - fantastic car. Now drive a Leon FR+ - get a price from Drive the Deal and phone 'round your local dealers - I saved £3k this way! Seats are cracking cars but don't expect anything in the way of customer service.

Would paying all in cash persuade them a litte? How much did you get off?

They make more profit if they sell finance rather than cash sales, so more chance of extra discount/better trade in if you're taking finance.

Sweeping statement, totally depends on your dealer.

I'm not sure that's true.

Whoever provides the finance makes more money but I don't that would be the person that sells you the car.
i have had a seat ibiza since 2003, brilliant car, thumps up

Trust me, the garage/salesman get's a payment for every finance agreement.

Pretty sure its dealer specific to be honest. Depends on if you catch the salesman on a good/bad day.

I got £495 taken off so got it for £9500. Granted its not mega bucks but it all helps!

In my experience cash is always a good bargaining tool if you have a lump sum to pay the lot off with. Just dont expect too much, best advice i can give you is to go in and have a word with your local dealer. If the conversation doesnt go your way just walk out and dont buy!

no, "like a polo" (or a fabia)
Cheap car with good specs with a horrible old tech engine.

Still a great deal!

True.... I always get hassled to take out finance on a new vehicle even though they know i can afford cash. They then say i can pay it off after a couple of months.
In fact i've had almost as much arguing that i dont want finance as i had arguing the price.

Nice price!!! I wonder how much they would give me trade in though for my 59 plate Fiesta Titanium 1.4 petrol 5 dr with Bluetooth and USB? Only done 12k miles. I suspect they would offer me really low as I would end up paying hardly anything!

I've mostly driven Fords.... and find i only get a decent part ex on a Ford when buying another Ford.
Other dealers offered me 2K less on the Mondy i chopped in last year. Which was one of the reasons why i ended up buying another Ford
Nice car to drive, use them when I was travelling around Spain.

I think I read somewhere that FSA regulation states that commission earned by brokers (in this case the garage) must be declared in the credit agreement. If this is true, you can check on your documentation.

Wouldn't know about that.... because i always point blank refuse the finance that they keep hassling me to have.
