or
1 x £1850 + 23 x £205 per month (9+23)

They have the hatchback for the same money too.

Out of interest how did you find this offer please? I’m looking for a new PCH deal
    Is this just business ?
Business uysers only it states on the Lookers site.
When you called did they confirm the prices (+VAT of course) are available for personal lease?

It says personal in the op.
There's been much better deals than this. Love the Cupra. Might be my next car when my 435D goes back.

    I see £279/mth, not £275/mth.

Sorry you’re right - fat fingers! The 9+23 figures are correct per the quote I received so you save slightly doing it that way

Found it on What Car doing a lease search - best way to find deals direct from dealers IMO. Contract Hire and Leasing good for finding broker deals, which you can then try and get dealers to match.
Does anyone know how much extra DSG would be?
About 3 months ago you could get the Seat Leon Cupra DSG 10k Miles for £240 per month with around £800 up front - was direct from a seat dealer... only issue was that it was around 4-6 month lead time!

WAS cheaper (deal expired) and it was a Jag, not a SEAT Leon, so your comment is pointless

To be fair he doesnt like to spend much money so he probably doesnt have a drive, or a house. Probably just camps in a field somewhere, without a tent obviously as who needs that kind of expense.

    jag is slower
If it was the 4wd version I would buy in an instant, but it's not. Average price imo
Not a bad deal imo, Golf R is around the same per month with a £2500 deposit.
Loving mine from the previous deal, but could definitely do with more traction.

That deal has already been pulled and everyone who paid their fees/deposits are getting their orders cancelled. If it’s too good to be true...

It’s a fair hike. It’s around £1600 more than the manual so divide that by 24 and add that to the £279 and it won’t be far off.

You’re assuming that everyone has £6595 cash to spend. I don’t, but I do have £205 per month going spare.

If I was to save £205 per month for the next 2 years I’d be gutted that all I could afford was a Dacia, when I could have had this car the whole time.

Lol good comparison I'm sure most people on the market for a 300 bhp estate would be steered away by a bargain Dacia!!

You can’t compare this car to a £6k used car though. It’s about whether you want this car.

The list price of this car plus the paint is £31,500. Who realistically has that in cash sitting about? Even if you do, in 2 years do you think it will have depreciated by more than £6595? Damn right it will. So buying it cash makes no sense. Taking finance to buy will probably have an APR of 5% as well as the depreciation to consider so is even more expensive.

There’s no cheaper way I can see to drive this brand new car other than leasing.

You could however spend £3k on a used banger and save over 50%

(Before everyone jumps on this, I understand list price is a fictional number...)

Ordered the Cupra 300 DSG AWD in Oct/Nov and was told it'll be with us Feb - asked for it to be delayed 'til March, to get the new reg.
Though now you got me worried that I may get a call saying its gonna be put back!

Admittedly mine is not lease, so that may have a bearing on things.

I know the lease price to listing price aint bad on this (i.e. 20% of list price), but you can get this for circa £24K so really the comparison in rentals to purchase should be on that, not the over inflated listed price - so more like 25% which I suppose is still ok.

Thanks. I have a Octavia VRS 245 DSG on order but I'd probably prefer one of these if I could get an estate + DSG at a similar price to the Octavia (£6k over 2 years).

I was after the VRS 245 Estate DSG but the deals expired before I could order one within my delivery window. Was pretty gutted at missing it. Happy with this though and the Virtual Cockpit and wee bit extra oomph will hopefully make up for lack of DSG!

Worth a call, mine went from build week 1 to 5, it's on a lease and don't expect it before March now.
