£7404 admin fee? I think no bargain here.

Hilarious
I just had my Seat Leon Cupra ST 300 DSG 4Drive delivered a couple of weeks ago and I love it so far, a real wolf in sheep's clothing, docile around town, ferocious in Cupra mode on my private test track.

Take this quote to a larger Seat dealer and they should price match (minus admin fee). We’ve done this with our last 3 lease deals.

If the box on this is just as good as the new S3 I could well be considering it in a couple years time...

I love my ST to bits but dying for a DSG

As far as I know, it's the same 6spd box as the S3 and the older Golf R, I believe the newest Golf is 7spd, and it feels brilliant at any speed, more than happy with mine.

POOR MANS VW GOLF R
Blimmin good price for a proper hot hatch.
This was on for £269 a couple of weeks ago. Same payment profile and dealer. I was waiting for it to drop back down to £249 as it was last year, long wait I guess!

Are you sure that wasn't the manual? As that is currently £269 with £269 deposit.

The minus admin fee bit is why. The dealer will probably price match but not charge an admin fee.

Retail Price Index = Price rise. Not sure it will go back down that low. Although new CUPRA brand may mean SEAT CUPRAs go on run out at some point. As yet unclear.

And? The Golf R is a poor man's Audi S3 in that case...

RS3
deleted19229017th Apr 2018

And there in a nutshell is the power of marketing.

Errmmmm no it's the difference between sitting in a Golf R or Cupra 300 over a budget Micra....
TomScrut17th Apr 2018

Or the power difference between an R32, a Cupra or a Micra

LOL exactly my man!!

I have a 3 door one of these now 2 months or so old with DSG and Seat Sound. It replaced a SciroccoR. The quality is just not there my car developed a cracked windscreen down the middle on day two. The drivers window leaks and thats after it's been repaired.
Now my other half has an 18 plate 5 door Leon Fr and that is an excellent car, no rattles and it doesn't leak when it rains.
From my experience I won't be going cheap again and will be sticking with VW or Audi at least that way when there is a fault I should have half a chance of getting it fixed.

And no this is not a poor man's Golf R it's a front wheel drive hot hatch not a 4wheel hatch. Spec on the Cupra is much better than the golf but it just isn't a quality car.

I think it is initial deposit of £289, 23x £289 and then admin fee of £179 so £7115 in total not £7404. In total I always work out everything on these divided by the term so works out at £296.46 a month over two years, if it was an ST it would suit me better as I prefer estates, my Golf R finishes in October so this would’ve been perfect in estate form. Great deal though.
Really want the estate with 4drive. Apparently this struggles to put all the power down.
This is a good price for the hatch though with dsg.
I've just ordered this deal, I think it works out slightly cheaper.. seem a decent company to deal with so far.carleasespecialoffers.co.uk/car…504
