Hi everybody! So, I found this in my local ASDA (Metrocentre). They had about 4 or 5 left this morning at 8am.

I wasn't looking for one of these, but I knew I needed to get one at some point so I grabbed one (probably should have grabbed another 2 for the spare room and bedroom).
Was £25 but now £6. Not available online. Likely to be national.

Item Description:
The QLT35 is a tilting wall mount for 40” to 70” flat-panel TVs up to 50 kg. Tilts to reduce glare and reflection. The QLT35 can be installed in three easy steps: Attach brackets to TV, attach wall plate to wall, hang TV on wall plate. Once mounted, the TV can shift left or right for perfect centering on the wall. A quick-release locking system secures the TV to the wall for added safety. Universal mounting brackets fit most 40” – 70” TVs.

They also had a smaller non-tilting one for screens up to 60' for £2. Think it was called the Secura Starter Kit (included HDMI cable, tv screen cleaner and cable ties).

Has anyone got one?

If I have time tomorrow (I'm working 11:15-22:30 today) and the right tools (I might not need a drill as the previous tenant seems to have used a wall mount), I'll pop mine up and post my thoughts on here :

Looks like I'm going to have to borrow a drill off of somebody. The holes that exist are a bit too far out for my bracket so it might take a few days instead. BUT, I've taken it out the box, the parts are all there, the fixings look very sturdy (as you'd want them to be) and I think it's gonna do the job! I just need to find a bracket for the skybox and soundbar now.
How do you fix these to a brick wall ? Thanks

I've got one it has no problem holding up my 50 inch tv, only thing I dislike about it is that the TV has to be angled, which for me is fine as my TVs high on my wall & with the TV being angled I don't have to strain my neck looking up but if you wanted the TV low down it's probably not suitable.

If it's an outer wall you can get away with using a cheap drill & a masonry drill bit which are pretty cheap from Screwfix. If it's an inner wall it's probably made out of breeze block which you can use a standard drill on fine but I would recommend using m8 Rawl bolts just for added security

For those who want to see instructions before purchase, I've uploaded a PDF (using CamScanner) of the instruction manual. It's much clearer in the print, but this'll give you a rough idea.

Not sure if I would trust my 65" TV on this

They are all much the same really its more about making sure it's mounted securely then it would hold a buss load of Tv's! Buying a £100 won't help if you don't mount it properly...
Ive fixed my bracket with 4x no10 screws into red rawplugs. Its a 65” tv and just to be sure I hung from the bracket before putting the tv up. Its been up for years now with no problems.
Went to my local and it’s all sold out
Got one from Asda Metrocentre this morning. They had about 5 left on the shelf.

You will need a very powerful drill or SDS drill.
Great spot OP.

I got one on Friday at Asda Govan (Glasgow) - around 8 or 9 left when I purchased mines.

They had a more basic one as well down from £7 to £2. I think there were only 3 or 4 of these left.

Thanks

Yep, noticed the £2 one. It's already in the bottom of this deal. Didn't take a photo of it so didn't bother to add it it to HUKD.
