Did anyone buy one of these ?

What if some nicks your light - how can you see the footage of them doing it?

davek - ouch I'm still laughing at that

Good point. Remote storage of the recordings would be best, but also quite a bit more expensive I expect!

Although having said that, I did come across this idea recently... raspberrypi.org/tur…am/

Get a Rotweiler

You can actually get wireless SD cards to remotely access the files:

The range is about 10 feet, only useful for people who can't be bothered taking the card out of their device which is near them

Can't see many people knicking what they think is just a security light, and I can't see that many people would want to when it's wired up to the mains lol

They could just nick the memory card lol.

Very unlikely though.

Don't think it matters as it doesn't look like you can buy it now

Saw loads at my local store. But at £59.99 I will settle for a IP camera

+1 thanks for the info

Great where do you buy the waterproof as card from?

Sd card!

Don't bother - they're rubbish. I bought two - one for me, one for my mum. Had to go back to the shop first of all to swap one - when I got home I found the glass was already broken - as were half the others in the shop. One wouldn't work, the other was OK initially - but then the light stuck on and the heat cracked the glass. I had to turn off at the mains to get it to switch off - it never came on again. I now have two that don't work - only recently got round to taking down the one I had fitted, so now going for a refund. The design is also poor - to take out the SD card to check if any intruders (like to see if people snooping round) you need to switch it off. And then, it has no backup, so you have to reset time & date. I tried the wireless SD idea - that worked OK and avoids need to pull card out - but the light has packed up now.

Hi has anyone got the instructions for this? We fitted it but weren't sure how to use it and now we've lost the instructions, any help would be much appreciated.
