You are mixing your drinks again

I think you meant sour grapes :-D

as said above they were probably reduced.... because its a weighed item, they won't have a yellow sticker, instead they'll have been knocked down in the sytem to clear.

I hate grapes but t'other half likes 'em. I *think* I recently paid over 3 quid for a bag in Asda, about £2 per kilo if I remember so a veritable bargain @ 50p!

A lot of sour grapes in this thread

The Grapes of Wrath

There have been a lot of these sorts of "deals" lately... epic hot voting, but in reality probably only a clearance of one box in one store :-(

Er I work there, not Coryton, our seedless green grapes are still £1.98 but I heard they were going to 50p. Probably tomorrow...

Supermarket fruit sucks it only lasts a day once you get it home or it never ripens correctly. Tend to buy from Costcos as it is more expensive in real terms it lasts once you get it home as it remains chilled. You can tell the difference walking round the fruit there than at room temperature in the supermarkets.

if you don't eat the bag the same half will ben rotten the next

Now now.. don't wine
:P

Welcome to Grape Britain

ive paid £2 today

So... heat on this deal is now 602 degrees.. and, (correct me if I am wrong) - so far, there has been how many purchases of grapes at 50p/kg?

ONE? :-(

Well.. I heard it through the grapevine..

£1.98 in Middlesbrough

The geen grapes as pictured are £1.98/kg in my local asda too
Red grapes which the OP procurred are over £3.00/kg

White seedless grapes are 69p/500g in Aldi if anyone is looking for some
aldi.co.uk/uk/…htm

just goes to show that you shouldn't believe everything you hear thru the grape vine

It was grape while it lasted, but now, not with a wine, but a whimper, we must leave this post to ferment. Knowing I won't get this fruity deal grapes on my nerves,
