I have a full size New Astro City which sadly is at the mothers house, due to current lack of space. I would be all over this if it was a bar top, but jebus that's just too small.

I think something like this is ideal. Doesnt stick out like a sore thumb

Think I'll wait for it to be released with some real life reviews

I love retro gaming etc but try not to order stuff before it's released officially
Apart from revenge of death adder that’s a pretty unappealing list given Sega’s back catalogue. Hopefully those additional 13 games add something special to the mix. Not ideal with a joystick but a collection of super scaler games is long overdue!

Where did you get hold of one and how much if you don't mind me asking? I've always wanted one since playing on the cabs in Hong Kong arcades a couple of years back
Oh wow

Are you selling? Been after a good condition one for ages now.
That’ll be the mega drive version of Virtua Fighter

Just thinking that!
Reminds me of the Neo Geo Mini. Tiny screen and stick/buttons. Terrible idea. Even if it outputs to a TV.

My brothers leave their junk at my mums house too (lol). Last I visited there was a projector screen, old consoles & computers, kids toys.

Apparently it is the arcade of Virtua Fighter from previews. Only VF2 came out on mega drive. Unless you count 32x.

32x was what I was thinking

If it was arcade port that’d be weird seeing as everything else seems to be just MD ports

They are mostly System 16 games, some of them are inferior to console and vice versa, for example the arcade version of ESwat is a steaming pile and the Megadrive version is brilliant.

I agree. I had a full size one myself and I can imagine the experience from this tiny unit to be god awful. I've a friend with the Neo Geo mini console / cabinet and I hate it!

A viewlix or something similar is the only style cabinet I'd consider next. I have a Pandora's Box which serves me well for now.

That image just reminded me how much I miss Independent game stores.

Yeah, that was my place I ran in Manchester for almost 14 years. Closed it at Xmas in 2017. Best years of my life. I still trade online though in Collectibles and Merchandise. Self plug: geekyaf.com
