Love this collection heated :P
It seems a bit steep for a lot of naff games and a few gems. Most people will likely be better off buying some individually. Streets of Rage 2, Gunstar Heroes, and Beyond Oasis are the best of this bunch.8)

I've not got a PC but gonna eventually get a decent set up, is it worth buying all the good deals like this for when I get one? (Could be over a year) or is there constantly good deals on steam..

No Sunset Riders?

Konami used to churn out superb games for the Megadrive/Snes.

Constantly good. For instance, there's a major sale at least three times a year where pretty much everything is on sale. Summer (next week in fact), Autumn and Winter. And often others - they had a Lunar New year sale this year.
You'd be far better downloading an emulator and the entire Mega Drive back catalogue. With the amount of money I sunk into these games back in the day, I'd never shell out more money to play them again.

Is there controller support for these games ?
If so I'm in
Excellent collection.I cant believe folk saying only a few good games 80% of these are great games must be Nintendo fanboys.Sega do what nintendont.

I'll skip this deal. I buy retro games from time to time, hotly anticipating replaying the great games from my youth, and I'm almost always disappointed. I usually just can't get past how appalling the graphics are. I'd rather play a modern game with reasonable graphics and reasonable gameplay than an oldie with horrendous graphics and fantastic gameplay.
Shallow? Yeah, probably.

I played pretty much all of them when they were new, though, so I prefer to remember them fondly than try them again and end up tainting my memory of them.

Heat added, though. Great price for some absolute classics.

I had over a hundred games in my steam library before I got myself a pc (well actually I had a really crappy old pc, but I never bothered to install Steam on it).
It's worth picking up bargains and adding them to your account before you get your pc set up - it's great when you set up your computer, install the steam client, and have access to loads of games.
At that point you'll pick a handful to download and play right away, and download the others over the next few days/weeks.

Better get on the phone to the bizzies....

I'm personally not feeling this anywhere near that price to be honest.

That said, it might be worth mentioning the free Call of Juarez and Asteroid Bounty Hunter keys with the purchase.

If you're touting theft as a viable alternative to purchasing something then you'll probably have to vote every single deal on this site cold...

My rose tinted glasses must still be working as, for me anyway, a lot of them still look the business. Just been playing Sonic CD and last night I was having a blast on Starfox/wing. Absolute corkers, still hold up. I find the Playstation/N64 era to be a lot harder on my eyes than from the SNES/Megadrive era.

These games would probably work on a PC from early 2000's because it's 16bit titles which basically any device can play.

I'm glad to know I'm in the minority, to be honest - it's great that so many folk can relive (or experience for the first time) these games!

People love taking the moral high ground acting holier than holy on here so I wouldn't worry about it, I made a similar comment a while back about emulators and everyone jumped on the bandwagon about how wrong it is to steal things, hence why I don't post on here anymore, I agree though get an emulator, these games are 30 years old, you'd be a fool forking out for them imo, spend your money on more important things in life, like food and rent and treating your girl.
If you can get it free get it free sod the complete morons on here
there is a steam sale coming up so unless the deal ends before the 23rd id wait
Already got all except for Mega Drive Pack 5. Does anyone know how many Steam keys come with this bundle? I hope there is a key for each pack.
