I reckon this will drop in price pretty quick. If you’re in no hurry, you’ll probably be able to pick this up for a tenner in about 6 months.

Not criticising deal, just a wee warning. :-)
ARGHFHFH shadow dancer? Streets of rage and golden axe!! God dayum!!
Greatest sega classics ever!!

Why do they run it with snowflake save points? How will the kids know our pain and suffering?

I think the wee warning applies to most games mate. You wait 6 months for any game and it will drop.
To be honest this is worth it just for the poster

Yeah I agree, I usually love this kinda stuff especially with the mega drive but I ain’t forking out that much for this especially when the majority of the games have been sold on the 360 seperately and they are backwards compatible too.
Bit of a bizarre list..no sonic 3 or spinball, for example. Is it a licensing thing or just because they're going to release a second volume later?

It'll be on Switch in 9 months, for 50 quid.

I did read a rumour that Nintendo had issues with it for some reason - but find that hard to believe as they have allowed that other collection now and the rumour was that they didn't want this competing with their own individually sold classic games...

I can see this being announced for switch separately personally - its been a trend - announce games that suit the switch for ps4 and xbox - and then release for switch and hope some double dip.

Sypro hasn't been announced for switch yet - yet it was leaked on the Nintendo shop.

Its an issue Nintendo need to address - all the time they announce things separately it just isn't good. doesn't look or feel good.

I have no interest in this collection on ps4/xbox1 but I would snap it up on the switch - same as sypro - same a crash - same as street fighter collection.

It was on the PS3 version. I don't think this had the Complete Sonic & Knuckles addition to Sonic 3 though.

The biggest let down for me about both versions of this collection is the lack of Disney titles. Not enough for me to swap from my PS3 version really, so I'll be pasing.
No California Games
No significantly different to version they released for PS3 which is pretty rubbish tbh

and all american versions of the games

The MJ stuff is pretty recent, some of the music sounds like remixed versions of MJ songs around the time Dangerous was released, Ice Cap Zone sounds like ‘Who Is It?’ ... there’s videos online of this, although last I heard it was basically all false and nothing could be proven. Maybe sets just got worried about it??

Sonic 3 is my fave tbh so more reason to skip this collection

As I'm finding myself doing more and more this gen, I'll wait until it's possibly released for the Switch.

That site is not legit. All the games they are selling are £19.95 not just this one.
£22.99 on amazon with £2 pre-order 'Prime Savings'

Actually looking forward to this. They must have struck some deal with Treasure to get Gunstar Heroes, Alien Soldier and Light Crusader this time around.
Heated as a good price currently. Personally wouldn't touch till it goes sub £10 though as contents are almost identical to the previous version and worse in some ways e.g. not having all Sonic games on a Sega collection is practically unforgivable IMHO. While I'm glad the PS4/Xbox One gets a updated Sega collection I can't help but feel this is a bit of a lazy product on Sega's part being mostly the same games as last gen and on the Steam Sega collection. Was hoping they might have pulled out all the stops and gave us maybe a top 100 and really done the Megadrive the justice it deserves. Of course, they would have had to collaborate with other companies as there isn't enough in their own library and that is obviously too much to ask

I half agree but then you look at the stingy gits at Nintendo and the way they handle their 16-bit catalogue and it looks quite generous!

That is not this collection but an upgrade to the steam hub thing. it says "The following games will be accessible through the new hub on release - if you already own these games, just wait for the update & press start!" at the top of the list of games that include others not in this collection like Eternal Champions. The hub doesn't include any games but is a place you can access all the ones you have already.

If you look at the list in the description on the Sega youtube chanel trailer they aren't there:

I didn't want to embed it, that happened automatically but open it in youtube to see the description.

That doesn't matter, sadly they can't just include a game because it was on the Megadrive. They don't hold the license to them and Sega seem to be a tad lazy when it comes to acquiring them.

That'll depend on the contract between the two but this article isn't a good sign.

Here we go again - another Mega Drive Classics compilation ...
Would be nice to see some Saturn and Dreamcast titles on PS4, but guess SEGA is too lazy to even consider porting them. Not buying this.
Hope they release the SNK collection again. Now that was brilliant.
I already have the xbox 360 version and the steam version, so i do not really need this.
Gunstar heroes and mean bean machine are the reasons I'm buying it. Would've been good to see a wee MK in there or Road Rash 1 and 2 though. Spiderman on the Megadrive was also a classic.
