Excellent, thanks! I had an RRP order with Amazon, so this is much better!
Very good deal.

I actually have this pre-ordered with The Game Collection for sightly more.

Do you simply pay upfront using this ebay method?

They took my money straight away (I paid with PayPal).

Ordered awesome thanks!

Anyone know where to buy the official 6 button UK controller for this?

I actually prefer the Asia version due to Sword of Vermillion and Shining Force 2 but it's pretty subjective.

Will soon be able to add any mega drive game you want. IMO Asian and JAP MD looks the best best plus the 6 buttons pads!
Already dispatched hopefully be here just before release date.
No longer available

I'm not sure we can say that anymore.

I have the JAP version.

Mine too... With an estimated delivery date of the 17th... I suspect that is meaningless though!
The willy Wars. That sounds interesting

I don't think it's even needed. Plenty of good stuff on this.

I still have my iwoot order open despite it being "cancelled" so I'm hoping it still comes. That was sub 60.
its already been hacked Google project lunar its still early days but its hacked
Available again

still holding out for better £50 or less deal
Going off early reviews it seems to be comparable to the SNES mini but hardware wise not as powerful as the PlayStation Classic, which makes sense seeing it's a 16-bit emulation machine. I was rather hoping they'd massively over-spec it, as I really wanted a Mega Drive as a kid, but I'll stick to the PSC and sell the SNES mini.

its underclocked no doubt someone will find a kernel hack to increase the speed
It was fun in the 90s, but that's where it should stay. Playing it again now will only bring disappoinment.
I've still got the original, fun times in the 90s Golden Axe II and Italia 90 rocked!
Boo You can’t play SFII properly with 3 buttons - why didn’t they give us the 6 button controllers?!?!

I've had more fun retro gaming this past year or so than I have playing new releases, they always seem to be the disappointment.

I wonder if these are compatible? amazon.co.uk/Ret…QM/
Maybe when the console is hacked it'll support additional controllers.

How do you know if you haven't tried it?

Tried the snes mini, sold it straight away
Nostalgia got me, just got one in Game for £70

All I know is that the people who made the inferior version are dodgy. Not sure in terms of quality of materials etc but they've got a bad reputation for trying their hand at second-best products.
After the Playstation Mini went from £80 down to £15 at one point I'm really wary about buying this anywhere near to full price

Exactly. I'd wait until nearer Christmas or after if you can, it'll be much cheaper. Under £40 by new year's I bet.

The PlayStation mini was terrible with terrible emulation and got a really bad press.

The mega drive mini has been getting great reviews and has 42 games. I wouldn't expect the price to drop that much IMO.
