If only they were for PS3/PS4

nice deals

Some classic gaming there, definitely deserving of a hot++. Altered Beast came with my Mega Drive back in the 90's and the speech in that game still makes me smile 'Wise Fwom Your Gwave'. Revenge of Shinobi and Streets of Rage are still great fighters as well.

Dynamite Headdy. Worth it for that alone! Heat!

Is this controller friendly?

I wish they would bring Road Rash 1-3 to steam !!!

Wow! my daughter loves sonic she's going to over the moon when she finally gets it on the "big computer"

Try ssega.com - might not be for everyone but's it's free and you can get a controller to work with a bit of playing around.

It won't take much to play these games on your TV with a controller, if that's the experience you want.

I've recently bought a wireless receiver to allow me to use my Xbox 360 controller in Windows and hooked up a 7" Windows tablet to my TV and started using Steam in Big Picture Mode and, I have to say, it's great. For any game that the tablet can't run, I can switch on my desktop PC and get that to run the game, using the tablet to stream it to the TV. When someone else wants to use the TV, I can just switch to playing Steam games on my desktop, laptop or tablet - the best of all worlds!

How's the latency streaming from PC to tablet? Always wondered about getting a setup like that X)

187 degrees in over 5 hours for these classic games at 13p each makes me shed a tear.

I do hope it's not an indication of the sorry state of affairs gaming in 2015 has come to. You can all keep your Bloodborne, Shadow of Mordor and Driveclubs.

ESWAT: City Under Siege, Streets of Rage and Altered Beast was were the real games were.

If you're not having to press up, down, left, right, A and start, it's not meant to be

It actually plays really well. I used to do it on a Linx tablet I had and it streamed quite flawlessly for me sat playing Skyrim and games like Grid: Autosport whilst she got frustrated over the disappearance of Betty's hotpot

A few games also have touch support on Steam like that crappy Halo title for example which work well.

Only want megalomania

I'm also using a Linx tablet (7") and it works really well. You can tweak the settings in Steam to prioritise visuals over speed and allocate extra bandwidth to streaming. On the tablet I've set it to launch Steam in Big Picture Mode on the secondary screen (which is the TV) and bought a USB adapter that enables me to leave the tablet on charge whilst the X360 wireless receiver is connected, so it's just a case of connecting everything up and launching Steam on the tablet, then sitting back on the sofa with the controller. In Big Picture Mode, Steam highlights games that are fully controller compatible. For games that aren't, you can manually setup the controls on the tablet, or of course use a keyboard/mouse (I'm looking at getting a Logitech K400 for any games that play better that way). I've been playing Bioshock Infinite, Skyrim and some Lego games this way and I'd highly recommend it.

I can obviously also just play games on the tablet's screen using the controller. Haven't found many games that can be controlled well using just the touchscreen - but I did find that Papers, Please worked really well that way.

some classics here.

handy for anyone able to get the emulator and roms, using cast screen and a controller gives it the feel of old times!

but not everyone can. this is good anyway

Can u find aladin, pocahauntus or cricket in this anywhere? I miss those games

streets of raaaaage!!!!

the music at the end when you find his brother again :')

I have a Megadrive and most of these games. But it's the PC deals that kill it! It's always about £2/£3 cheaper on steam than it is on PSS. Robbing barstewards.
