Yeah, same here - got a 360, but this would have been a good bit of retro fun for a fiver. heat from me.
Got it to put in my daughters room, she and her sister can play about on it without fear of damaging my actual Megadrive lol!
Is this the one which you can use the original games cartridges on?
Never heard of this console before.
Heat for price and old school artwork.
Where did you bring it from?
Same here, never heard of this but sounds awesome for £5!

If you mean buy it was from the Kidderminster branch
Insult to true retro games. What a piece of rubbish.
£29.99 @play.com. Cant be bad at a fiver heat.

Did you mean 'buy' or did you mean 'bring' when you say 'this one I brought'?

But it is a piece of rubbish, it's a laughably bad bit of kit and i feel sorry for the kids who get it "brought" for them.
For goodness sakes, the spelling/grammar patrol, do one eh?

Perish the thought of giving a kid a game of monopoly then
cracking deal, but do get a few returns
insane price good spot-wish we had morrisons in northern ireland!
What a deal! Have some heat. Brings back good memories...
We just fired up the Megadrive this last weekend for a session of Streets of Rage II.
This is pointless for anyone thinking of buying this just get a cheap megadrive off ebay. I bought 7 for £14. I've also heard that sound emulation isn't the best?

i feel very old when i read that some people have never heard of a megadrive!
Its a fiver, so at least when you plug it in and find its terrible at emulating the games you won't feel too bad eh?
Exactly, couldn't buy most of the games on their own for less than a fiver a piece via nintendo channel or Live etc...

Brought, again....

Just say it in your head. I brought one of those... Where, where did you bring it to?

I don't understand the confusion. The word bought doesn't even have anything close to an 'R' in it.

Don't you mean 'grammar' police?
You sneaky editor.
I'm thinking fond memories of warm sunny 90s days skiving off college, decent music, a few beers and a round of games on the Megadrive. Worth a fiver for the nostalgia!!!

Monopoly works, this doesn't. My point was that this is a poor clone that plays old classics in a bad way, slower speed and awful sound.

Capital M for me, really?

Careful, you may incur the wrath of god, sorry I meant God.
I spent a couple of hours last weekend hacking a PSP 2000 so I could use it as an emulator of things like this.

I now have every videogame I bought between the years 1990-2002 running on it, taking in NES, Master System, Mega Drive, SNES, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Lynx and Playstation. My entire Game Boy Advance collection is on there as well, the whole lot on a memory card that still has room to spare.

If I hadn't done that, I might have had a look round my local Morrisons for one of these.
Friend got one of these for a stocking filler type present, controllers only lasted a couple of days before they broke

I'm happy to ignore any and all spelling / grammatical errors, as long as you guys allow me to murder anybody who pronounces 'specific' in the same way you pronounce 'Pacific'. Where the hell has the 'S' gone? [rage emoticon goes here]

don't you mean 'bry'? surely if you brought something then you must have wanted to bry it before you brought it...
