NO DON'T BUY ONE OF THESE - it's a lottery and not value for money at all. They are "franken-watches" and not genuine Seiko. Poorly cobbled-together (some allege non-genuine, or a mixture of) parts, prone to breakage/bad timekeeping, allegations they may not even be (re)-assembled in clean environments.

Eg, here and here and here etc...

Example comment here:

Always be careful with used watch purchases coming out of India. As others have mentioned, they are notorious for redialing, repainting, recasing, and also hodge-podging. If a watchmaker has two watches that don't work, why not make one that will and use the other leftover pieces to Franken-watch another few watches down the road? And since labor costs are low in India, they can turn quite a profit doing this.

...Long story short, be very very weary
(or wary!) of watches being purchased from India unless they are direct from an AD.

There's a few pictures around of the SNKL17K1 in natural light (wish H Samuel and the like wouldn't use stock pictures) 39673387-GpI7C.jpg39673387-GZzOZ.jpgThe watch in the pictures below appears used, but you get the gist. Folded links, which are a bit hit and miss for me, adjustment-wise (some links can be quite tough to budge)39673387-yj2pu.jpg39673387-DKylZ.jpg39673387-M7lA6.jpg(still from the Youtube video above)39673387-9otf9.jpg

Nice.
Not my cup of tea but bargain 🤙🏻
Old skool
#Do The Seiko Shuffle# I love my little Seiko 5. It's one of the cheapest but most-loved watches I have.
Quality piece just ticks away the days year after year,
Pure Class
I like it. Hot.
Great watch for anyone with an interest in mechanical watches. You simply can't go wrong at this price.

Really? I thought smaller watches with gold accents and jubilee style bracelets were right on trend.

Nice, but I agree the Seiko 5 is nicer. I like the retro cool look of it. Would look great with a t-shirt and jeans

I'm in H Samuel in Glasgow, Fort and the watch with the gold trim is very nice looking indeed. I'm tempted to try it on but I'm too afraid I'll end up with another watch I hardly wear as I've got too many watches and not enough wrists already lol

Managed to leave without buying, boy that was tough

Regards Ebay Indian “Seiko” watches, as Louise Louise says, whilst you may get remarkably lucky, the watches coming out of India are invariably complete junk frankenwatches cobbled together in sweat shops from any junk watches that come to hand. Furthermore, watches are often very old 36mm or 34mm cases or worse, hence the dial size is usually omitted from listings.
Funny this gets mentioned I seen this deal 2 days ago as I'm currently shopping around for a Seiko 5 automatic, as my last one broke and costs £70 to be repaired, I got some similar watch at Christmas but it broke within 2 weeks however this isn't for me im looking for something with a black face (not like Justin Trudeau) or dark in colour

I did see one last night for £61 from a company I've never heard of which guarantees DHL tracking and verification of legitimatecy etc

What was the place called?

Turns out louise has mentioned it in voucher sections before too so it might not be so bad.

Creation watches - £61 + discount voucher MANONTIME makes it £57
creationwatches.com/pro…tml

I am really tempted however i have seen argos have a Pulsar Solar PX3167X1 for £59.99 i searched the model number found that watch on Amazon marketplace seller for £39.75 delivered.

My first seiko was an automatic 5 similar to the one from creation watches but i damaged it in a fall, my 2nd was i'm pretty sure the one by creation watches although the date/day messed up after using a petrol lawnmower with vibration and then when i last used a rotavator it damaged the self winder mechanism i was quoted £70 from pretty much everywhere, timpson tried to tighten it to fix the winding mechanism but had no luck, and now ive misplaced my one i was looking to be repaired so i cant even sell it as faulty xD
Very nice watch
Looks like a woman’s watch
Be aware, with Creation you might hit for excise duty and if for some reason the watch has a problem Creations CS is over the hill on the appalling side.

I was surprised when it said "Mens" too
The option to get it £67.49 appears to have gone. Now just £74.99... probs for the best as far as my watch needs go lol

Fwiw, the watch looks perfectly suited for gents, no issues there
I nearly bought this several times, but decided to go for the SNXS73, even though I had to pay £29 more for it. Going to put it on a nice quality padded leather strap. Seiko 5's look lovely on a quality leather strap.
