Seiko 5 Orange Mini Monster Watch - £140 - Sold by Watch Nation / Fulfilled by Amazon - With Free Returns And Next Day Delivery With Prime

About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
This watch is a boys toy come true - orange, largeand automatic.
There are cheaper out there but this is via amazon prime so you get it next day and can return it for free plus watchnation is in the UK. It is also unlikely to be fake.
so posted as a peace of mind - watchnation themselves sell it direct for £279!
the reason I did not go for the cheaper nonUK was this review forums.watchuseek.com/f2/…tml

sorted byIt would be very helpful for people I think if you put "Seiko 5" in the title so as to make it clear what range this watch is from and so as not to get them mixed up for anyone that is looking at this but has heard of the Monster.
Still available at £122.90 shipped from Japan, but I would agree with an earlier comment that an extra £18 to expedite delivery, to not to have to concern oneself with import issues and to simplify or avoid any potential returns issues is money well spent. (edited)
Done

They nicknamed it the baby monster..

That is also my preferred colour (edited)
Darn - watch nation have upped the price to 232 - I wonder if they will honour the original purchases?
But not mine ....
There was a time when the Monster was in the £150 range (especially buying from the far east). That time is long gone unfortunately, Seiko have been trying to reposition a lot of their formally cheap watches as mid-range ... without really any upgrade in quality.
A new Monster now will set you back £500 odd which is a rip-off for what they are (mineral crystal, crappy stamped clasp etc). This is an inferior watch but vastly more bang-for-buck.
It's funny you should mention the clasp. Shortly after getting mine I fell down a flight of stairs and the clasp didn't survive. The jeweller I took it to ended up sending it to Seiko Europe to get a whole new band fitted.
