This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I actually prefer the Red SRPB17 version, discussed on Reddit here, but if you like Brown dials (does give it even more of a Vintage/1970s sort of vibe), this may be for you.

Code DADDY takes it to £97.

4R36 Hacks and Hand-winds.3247682.jpgNo Paypal option for this Seiko, though you can select Royal Mail at Checkout (£8.86) - which I assume has less chance of attracting Duty.3247682.jpg3247682.jpgI love the red "5" motif on the seconds hand - not so keen on the strap, but it does go with the vintage style.

Finding lume shots is tricky for this one, but here is lume for one of its brethren, the SRB21K1, which I assume will be similar - sourced from here:3247682.jpgI *think* this video is in Vietnamese:

I’ve got the sunburst blue dial/nato, the nicest by a mile, imo...

Definitely best of the bunch that one. I've been tempted by it myself, its retro and good looking.
The one in this is deal is retro, but ugly retro.
Tissot Automatic for 240£. Thanks for the code. 214£ - 10% (DADDY) + 20% custom fee + 8£ handle fee = 240£ Cheapest price I ever seen.

£11 handling fee with DHL. Might be cheaper with Royal Mail. but i dont think you get the box with that option from Creation. Unless you pay extra for the box sent seperately.
Looks a bit too big for my skinny wrists but good deal nonetheless. Thanks OP.
There's a Black SRPB73 "Limited Edition" Seiko 5 Sports with similar detailing (exhibition back/strap/"5" seconds hand). I mistakenly added a video for it via my phone last night - had to get up/boot up my Desktop to delete it!

The "K" is out of stock on Creation but the "J" is still there - £204 before discount codes!

37872394-tC4uP.jpgThere's a few other Seiko 5 Sports Limited Editions that come up via their search engine but this (albeit ugly to some) one is probably the best of the bunch, looks and value-wise.

Good price, but no wonder. Bogging 🤮🤮 the other watches look good, albeit too big for my wrists!
Only a really really hairy wrist is manly enough pull this watch off.

I'd be looking at a Hamilton Khaki Auto with that money personally, check it out if you haven't seen one before

If you can find a Hamilton Khaki auto for anywhere near £240 you should post it, they're usually the best part of £400

Pretty sure they've been posted on here sub £300 a few times (although not currently granted), but personally I'd look on eBay. Find a reputable seller with clear images, plenty to pick up in that budget range.
I really dislike the leather straps I prefer the mettle ones personally. Go for this one imo

All the sub £300 models have been quartz models which are regularly sub £300.

A search on Hamilton Auto shows otherwise

But like I said, I'd personally go on eBay. You see the Khaki Auto 38mm with bracelet (my personal favourite) going for sub 300 sometimes, and the leather strap variety is an easy pickup in low 200s.
Pulled the trigger
Love the retro look.

Had a seiko auto.. but if you have multiple watches and don't wear it regularly in order to "wind it" then it will need the time resetting... and worse the day/date (if included)... EVERY time you want to wear it.

Captain Obvious ? Yes, and we all know this about Automatics... of course - but it did affect how often I chose to pick up the watch to wear.

Good deal, but just a warning to those who are unaware. Creation watches ship from outside the EU, these are grey imports. There is a chance you will have to pay import tax. Many have been caught out.

Will need to have a look - I did a Deal for the Blue SNZH53K1 when it was down to £89 a while back hotukdeals.com/dea…361

Are creation watch good? are heard bad things about them?
Creation watches are okay, but the international warranty they provide with the watch is not recognized by Seiko, because they are not an authorized seller. My recent purchase of a Seiko dive watch had a loose bezel, so i sent it to Seiko UK with the warranty card. Seiko advised that the watch needed a new case, but I would have to pay for the repair (see terms and conditions with warranty). They posted it back to me and the watch is now en-route to Singapore for the repair with Creation watches. A bit of faff to be honest....

Relatively common though right? You buy a watch from a grey market dealer and you're never going to get manufacturer warranty.

Obvious to some perhaps, but nevertheless very true and well said. A hobby should be about enjoyment, not hassle.

For me, the trick is to know when to move on from a watch and let it go. Of course that's a personal view and some will like to do it differently. I've certainly changed my view over time, at one point I had about 15 watches myself and it was a bit of a nightmare! Now I have three and I'm more content to be honest.

I would always encourage those with an interest in mechanical watches to buy that £60 Seiko 5 bargain and a great Orient diver for £100 (etc..) and experience it. And that may well be all you ever need as those are great watches. But for those who catch the itch and want more, personally I suggest moving up the price range and selling off those that came beforehand.

What style & colour would you have?
Has anyone here ordered a G Shock from Creation, paid the £9 Royal Mail shipping and still been caught for imports taxes ?
Interested to know how failsafe this is.
