I purchased this watch when it was posted on Hot Deals at £69.99 just under a year ago. That thread deservedly went to 885 Degrees.

Without a shadow of a doubt (in my opinion) this is a beautiful watch, my own favourite sub £200 watch and at sub £100 I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Previous thread which highlights how poor the images of the watch are, how it is Gun Metal not Black and how much nicer the watch is when viewed in person.

Excellent - is it still available now at that price?
A good price, but is an ex-display - so you'd never expect to pay the very ambitious "recommended retail price".

I’ll give you three guesses.
Wish a deal for the prospex dive PADI would come up.
Some absolute cracking deals on this website!
I like Seiko Watches I’ve got a few of them and thanks to your previous deal I bought a cheap solar with a blue face but this ones definitely not my style

I’m not convinced
As M_z says. Ex display model. Most of the Rubicon deals all seem to be ex display watches and they do not come with an official Seiko warranty. If this doesn’t bother you then it might be worth a punt. There is no way the RRP is £280.
What is all the 154° about? I'm confused
@crik1916 it's the current deal temperature, there are + & - signs either side of the number. Members vote via these buttons.

No tags, serial number filed off too?
New without tags and ex-display are not the same in my book.
Me no like

The RRP is actually £299. Have faith that the watch is a cut above the usual basic Kinetics.

Is sapphire glass used in this watch?

Thanks - I've expired it. They only had four and, unsurprisingly, they went quickly. Good deal for those who managed to get one.
Funnily enough, not long after reading this thread I found a gunmetal grey Caravelle (cheaper Bulova) in a TK Maxx bargain bin must be fate
