Had a seiko kinetic for years now and it is a great watch

I prefer omega myself

great watches, and creation watches are a lot cheaper than most places

had a kinetic watch for over 10 years but sadly it died recently. I am not sure if it worth repairing or if even it is repairable!!

Looking for a nice watch, potential.

@Sam

you can repair. Google kinetic repairs. They are in warrington.

I have a kinetic auto relay and cost £60 to repair. You can do it yourself if you're feeling brave as its just a capacitor and clean that is needed (mine had gummed up from the capacitor leakage as you had to violently shake it to get the kinetic to move)

Great price, great watch.

Good watch for the dough. Yes, £147 would buy you a 1/10th of an Omega, but the Seiko has a fair bit of panache of its own and will give value in wearability and reliability.

I have a monster from Creation there's just one issue when you adjust the strap be aware that there little tiny collars in the strap that hold the pins in and when i altered the strap i lost a couple and the watch just kept falling off with the strap in half, when i took it to the jewellers they stuck a normal pin in with no collars and it broke again it seems they didn't have any idea about this either the moral of the story is be aware when adjusting the strap as you cannot get these collars anywhere worldwide and the only way round it is to slightly bend the Seiko pin to stop it falling out.

Got a £15 casio, it tells the time, and looks great. And if i lose it or break it, dont mind payin £15 for another.

CreationWatches is based in Singapore so I guess this price doesn't include relevant taxes and import duty?

Found this on the website so price doesn't include taxes: "Please note that customs taxes / import duties are not included in our price. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay for any customs taxes or import duties imposed by the customs of the buyer's country."

Just noticed this on the shipping page... "Please note that we do not ship Seiko Watches to EEA." Last time I checked, the UK was part of the EEA.

I have a seiko kinetic watch, and i did love it but the darn capacitor has been replaced twice now in 3 years... so 18 months for a kinetic watch - is that not around what a normal battery would last?

I find these kinetic watches work better on my right wrist.

I've had this watch almost three years...it's superb...very heavy, solid and has remained in fantastic condition having been worn every day...paid a hundred squid more for mine, so if you can get it at this price and pay no import duty it's a steal...retails in the UK now for 300+

ive just ordered my sixth watch from creation, all seiko, and so far ive never pay'd the import tax
