Any opinions on it?

Good price, but I'm not so keen on the black dial with the blue. I have an automatic Padi Turtle and much prefer the colour scheme.

Heat added though!

Good looking watch but its huge! 46mm
Obviously the strap can be changed but can you change the shrouds on these? As in change the blue for black/silver?

Pretty sure the shroud is plastic on this model. There are places that do aftermarket shrouds for these Tunas, i remember it being mentioned on Watchuseek. Having a search on there will bring some info up.

For those thinking 46 wide is too big, these Tunas wear small due to the design and short lugs.
I have a padi samurai. Generally speaking, all of the Seiko Prospex Range are superb, and the Padi special editions are particularly awesome. You won’t regret buying this watch. I also have a turtle, monster and other Seiko watches. Seiko are one of the oldest proper watch houses that are still independently owned and produce amazing pieces for all corners of the market.

Huge? My G Shocks are bigger and don’t feel huge. This will sit nicely on a mans wrist.

Agree on both counts..... all my mech autos are Seikos and all my quartz are Casio, mostly G Shocks & Protrek.
Quality watches.

Same here. I also have a Suunto Core All Black, but that’s just because I liked it on The Equalizer.
Can I ask if this is an automatic movement? Normally for their Solar range is quartz movement. THanks...

Solar = quartz is a safe bet.

I have a couple of those "solar" G-shocks and Pro trek and really love it's solar capability and time keeping compare to those autos that I have on other brands where i need to set the time and date everytime i use it

But i really like to have those smooth ticking second movement and crazy about it. And especially at the £300 price point, i thought getting a quartz movement is a bit of an over price. But love the design.... Dam.. i am contradicting myself so much here.. hahhaa

Well, it's a bit more expensive, but you can look at SRPA83K1 - ebay at 340£

Must you be fat? Can’t you just be a big fella with large wrists and hands?

It tells you it's solar powered quartz on the First Class Watches website, if you click on the "Get Deal" tab
if you hit up american ebay you can find one for a lot cheaper around £240

or mimosjewelry.com you can get a 35% discount with a 'Rob35' code - takes price to $295 but you'd need a ship address within the US.. otherwise $40 shipping plus duty

great tool watch that fits a lot smaller than the size.
