It's a J too, not K. Canny
Japanese or Korean manufacture. Japanese is thought to be better.

??? could you explain ?

Sorry yeah as ptgrav said, K is Korean made, J is Japanese made. Used to be the case that different movements were put in depending on K or J (I think!!). Seiko have a Korean assembly plant and the QC standards are supposedly slightly lower than in the Japanese plants. Japanese tend to keep the best for themselves (rightly so IMO) so quality of watches with 'J' serials are apparently better on average
By the way, for me (personal opinion), there are better Seiko and Seiko Presage deals on that site than the one given. Again just my opinion, and will differ for taste and price range
OP on a roll with CW deals, wonder if this is an inside job.
Sorry to spam the thread, but I think this watch is now OOS

Could be, but I don't care. A good deal is a good deal, and with the recent s**t going on with John Lewis and others, I say let the people decide

lol, not really, I am always on a look out for watch deals and have been benefited before by various deals posted on hotukdeals.com, thought this my turn to share for the community.

Never heard it said there's different movements (?) but this subject crops up all the time and nobody really seems to know for definite. What you can say for sure is that the j models are slightly more desirable, resale-wise.

Yeah I heard a while back regarding some of the Seiko 5's that they had different movements, but never verified that.

And sorry, its not Korea, it's Malaysia or more specifically outside Japan
