*Jumps up and down* I'm a lady. Interesting that they offer you a wrist size option, never seen that before. I'm guessing they do a bracelet resizing service free? Pretty cool.

Edit: D'oh actually, yes they do39756035-Xwoh1.jpg

Yeah, just after New Year. I nearly walked up to Buchanan Street (Glasgow store) until someone reported back they'd checked already. I even contemplated getting the train to Edinburgh
I know it's about the name, mechanism etc but in terms of basic look, it doesn't look any different in pictures than a thousand other watches. Especially other automatic watches from Seiko. Does it look better in person?

It’s not about the “name”, but more about if a person likes the aesthetics and feels that quality and build wise they are getting bang for their buck. Dial in person is sweet, but only seen version with power reserve which is too cluttered for me.

Ah so that's where the JL Norwich one has ended up.
Have the plain dial one. It is gorgeous highly recommended it. (classical caveats with this line apply : mineral hardlex can get scratched and is a tad thick if your dress shirts have tight cuff)
I have also seen the ladies version at a shop. Looks very nice albeit my wife found it plain and preferred other watches (that were not autos)
This looks like the seiko ladies version of the Grand Seiko snowflake - if the dial is anything like that then this is a bargain.

Tempted to get one for my wife but just got her a Tudor 1926.

I don't think I know of one woman that is as interested in watches as you are - really cool
Great watch by the way Baldricky. Would make a wonderful present for someone

To be clear, I love Edinburgh and regularly go to Edinburgh Festival I meant it was just after New Year, maybe over-eager on my part as it's a bit of a trek, there may have been no stock and I wasn't even sure if return trains would finish early.

Boyf finds them really boring. I think I'm the type of person who gets fascinations for a while, so who knows if this will be a long-term one.
