This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

With a few folk finding the Seiko Samurai STO outside their budget, this is IMHO a good looking option, again in Blue with Black hints and it’s also a change from the Diver genre. Albeit not that great a deviation.

This Seiko Prospex Automatic has the 4R35 manual hackable Auto 41Hr PR movement, 100M WR, 42mm case, 12mm thick and has a date display on the face.

Hilliers also have the watch and there are codes out there to get it down to the same price or there abouts.

Please note this is HARDLEX, so no need to mention in comments (you know who you are).

I’ve got over a dozen watches with Hardlex and it’s never been a heartache. You don’t need to use inverted commas with your adjectives either, Seiko are very good watches.

It is somewhat incredible to believe that a company as successful as Seiko could somehow be so when the vast majority of their watches are supplied with heartache built in?

I have 8 Seiko Watches with Hardlex crystals and thus count myself lucky that I have avoided said heartache for over a decade.

Nice looking watch

Nice looking watch

Because of the style and Black accents, it will also dress up nicely on a quality black leather strap.
Hardlex............

Hardlex............

The watch is kinda the love child of two of my favourite Seiko’s. An Easy Read and the STO. If only I wore nylon or leather straps I’d be in.

You get the idea.

If it’s a 22mm lug, I’ve got a navy zuludiver that’d probably look nice on it. :/

You've deliberately misunderstood the point. I have many Seikos, from a couple of cheapos to a grand Seiko, and a number of divers in-between. Nothing worse than a scratched up face because the manufacturers can't pony up the extra few quid for a more suitable face material.

They aren't supplied with "heartache built in". You're not quite grasping this.

Whilst I agree that scratches on a crystal or any other part of a watch for that matter are unsightly, I have just never had an issue with Hardlex crystals scratching.

I’m fairly sure it’s impossible to deliberately misunderstand something, anyway, if they put sapphire on them, they’d cost much more. It’s about price point, and Seiko do very well in their bracket. I know that nobody likes a scratch on any face, but I’ve not found Hardlex to be an issue.
That is a nice looking piece. Got a soft spot for watches with a blue face

Yeah I don't see the issue I have a SNXS77 I wear daily.
What do I do guys, been looking at the Orient ray IIs and the Seiko SKXs but this watch seems like a good deal although not a diver.

All depends if 200m is important to you. If you go for the SKX put it on a rubber or nato strap. The bracelet it comes with is trash.
Nice looking watch and a great price 🏻

Assuming you don’t plan to do any serious diving, I think this watch beats the SKX hands down on aesthetics and not as ten a penny as the SKX. I cannot however comment on the ORII.
Too many nice Seiko deals recently, ain't good on the wallet...
Lovely looking watch

Seiko as always is PURECLASS. ok Caio
Walkerscrisp05/10/2019 20:52

That's not a blue face.

Yes, it is a blue face on a yellow dial.

Blue hands too... and arms!

You mean pureglass the. Hardlex variety 🤪
reminds in function of the Seiko alpinist
Dunno what the hardlex hate is about. My half a dozen Seikos take a beating and scratches on the glass has never been an issue.
Thanks OP. That's another watch I don't need bought!

Seriously though, heat given.
Fast Forward to 6:40 for the Blue Version. Prior to that is the Green Version.

If you dive, buy one of the others. If you don’t, this is beautiful, well priced and superb quality. With Seiko you also get brand recognition. Don’t buy this to dive though, you’d need 200m WR.
Anyone ordered with them before? No PayPal so I need to ask. Watch looks beautiful.

They are HUKD approved and I know of them from watch forums. Trust pilot reports well and I have had dialogue with them, just not purchased.
