When you said a Tag Heuer I had a wry smile to myself. When you said “brightling”, I truly belly laughed. Thanks.

lovely watch but at 47mm would look like a dinner plate on my wrists...

BTW I think the watch will look mighty fine on a brushed stainless finish mesh bracelet. I did look but did not find the exact model, but found below.

My thoughts exactly.
Great price for an amazing watch. I’ve bought from AMJ many times - the best dealer in the UK
Love it. AMJ have excellent customer service.

I did wonder if the watch would wear smaller as what you see is the stainless case and I think the image Vizta posted kinda shows that.

The tuna style watches do wear smaller.

Not at all... lug to lug is only 42mm so it wears surprisingly small. This pic is on my very average 7 inch wrist. Try one.

Is the outer strap quite common to find? I've never seen a strap that has an outside circumferance cover like that.

That’s the actual watch case as manufactured and the “shroud” is easily removed and/or changed out.
Nice find

All my watches have steel or leather straps, but I bought the previous model to this with the blue silicon strap and I love it. Never had a silicon strap before, but amazed how comfy it is and how it looks. One of my fave watches now.
Why is it called prospex?

Save the Ocean Tuna?How?

So the Tuna is one part and the Save The Ocean is another part. Tuna is the nickname of the design which has been around for decades, Tuna as in like a Tuna can as a result of the shroud.

The Save The Ocean part is a collaboration with Jacques Cousteau which sees part of the money from the sale of each STO watch going to his foundation.

Can the rubber protector be removed?
vizta01/02/2020 08:12

That's a very niche joke lol...

Especially for Europeans on a UK based website. Hellfire, are we still even Europeans?
Anyone had any first hand dealings purchasing from HK based Harry NG known as Yobokies? (Seikoboy reversed). He seems to be spoken about almost mythically on forums and does a lovely custom steel shroud for this watch.
