3433958-65V6m.jpgWhat stands out in this watch:
  • As part of the Prospex collection, this model is a guaranteed premium timepiece with all the finery expected from Seiko's superior sport model series.
  • Powered by almost any source of light, the photo-voltaic solar cell can charge the watch after only a few minutes in the light. When fully charged, the power reserve can last up to 10 months.
  • Seiko has invented a new technique to keep the outer protector while reducing the depth of the watch to just 11.5mm and the diameter to just 46.7mm. In our opinion, this makes the watch wearable for everyday use as well as underwater use.
  • This striking watch from the Seiko collection features a black dial with lumi brite hands and indexes and the "Seiko" logo at the 12 o'clock.
  • Displays date at the 4 o'clock position.
  • The case is machined from high grade stainless-steel for the perfect balance between style and comfort.
  • Stainless-steel bracelet watch with folding clasp.
More features:
  • The classic styling of this piece gives it an understated look while keeping all of the features of a divers watch.
  • Seiko's own Hardlex glass is very impact resistant, a perfect fit for a diver's watch.
  • This watch features a screw down crown, this not only secures the crown from being moved but also assists the watches water resistancy.
  • The uni-directional rotating bezel: The precise and safe operation of the uni-directional bezel prevents accidental rotation. This is to prevent the watch from displaying the elapsed time shorter than it actually is.
  • The deep grooves in the bezel are designed for easy handling, even when diving gloves are worn.
  • The black and silver styling of this watch make for a bold piece, perfect for any occasion.
  • Made to survive stresses of daily life and for everything from laundry and washing your hands, to getting caught in true British rain, this watch is 200 metres water resistant.
  • 2-year manufacturer warranty,

That's one nasty looking watch.. 😝
Ugly
Not my cup of tea either have the blue dial save the ocean which looks stunning!
Pitty the shroud is plastic but guess thats why this one comes in at a fraction of the cost of the Marinemasters. Heat added all the same.

I think it’s a safe bet that the circa £900 difference in price between this and the SBBN031 Tuna, is not down to the shroud base material.
Could it be the 7c46 movement ?
Seriously? Ugly af, proper seiko
So little face, so much bezel,,,,no thanks
You can remove the shroud should you desire. Two looks. One watch.

Have owned one and returned, you are exactly right, the watch is pretty big but the dial is sooo small for this size of watch.

I did think of mentioning that but when you have stick on another £100 is not such a great bargain. Saying that its still a lot cheaper than the SBBN's. I'm dreading when the battery change comes up the darths.
Overall its still a good deal for what your getting IMO.

I’ve changed a couple of front loaders but nothing in that price bracket - back to Seiko uk

I feel the same way. No issues with doing a battery change on the screwdown caseback models but the front loader is a whole new kettle of fish.
A like the baby Tunas🐟🐬
