Actually, December 2018, Lowry and John Lewis were selling this at £179. However, Seiko has had a popularity boost and thusly a price increase. At the minute, this is a very good price.
Brand new or second hand?
The link takes it to the normal blue samurai, not the great white save the ocean in the pic?

My apologies will correct
They have changed the link and it’s now a different model. Shame. The samurai is now at £440. It did initially show the model on sale but quickly changed when in my basket :-(

Have also just noticed the Hillier deal from before Christmas at £269 (albeit with a code).

I think TH Baker is offering 7% Quidco too

Tic watches do the black one around this price.
44 is too big for most wrists.
Good deal tho!

I don't think the samurai looks like a big watch at all on the wrist.

Not sure, i don't have one, a turtle is next on the list though! Not sure which one, maybe the nemo

To be fair, these don’t wear like a 44mm watch.
Anything above £200 is ridiculous.

Read the thread, answer is right there.

No it isn't. This is the price people are willing to pay, and seiko obviously sells plenty, if they didn't it would be cheaper, pretty basic economics.
