The Save the Ocean Samurai is back in stock at John Lewis

It appears they still have the £65 trade in offer (i collected my watch from waitrose, they didn't even ask for the swap), so u could get it for £274..

A bit of a bargain for such a good looking watch

Think the samurai is the SRPD23K1 model. This is the prospex SRPC93K1 model but still a good deal. Heat

Either would look great, the other one is called the great white, if u notice closely the dial has a shark tail tip

It all falls down to the price really, this is a nicer dial IMO and cheaper
Thanks, will have a closer look. 🏻

SRPD23K1 is the STO “Great White” and SRPC93K1 the STO (for want of a better phrase) “Blue Whale”.

In this model the dial lines or streaks are reportedly meant to depict a Blue Whales skin. They have vertical streaks (ventral pleats) that run from their jaw down to their bellies that expand when the whale is eating. Lastly, the graduated darkening of the dial represents the ocean darkening the deeper it gets.

Owning the Blue Whale and having seen the Great White, the Blue Whale wins hands down for me.

A photo of mine, which does the dial justice.

Alas 2 large moulting white dogs are to blame
Silly question. Why are they called save the ocean? Tia

I have the great white turtle and this samurai.

Both fantastic imo but this samurai does stand out more if that's what you like.

It looks better in the flesh than any picture shows.

The great white is more subtle but has great little details which I love.

Tough call but I don't think anyone would be disappointed in either.

Dunno, but 100% guaranteed 22mm as my uncalibrated but trusty steel rule will verify. Micrometer pics to follow if needed?

I figured the added bonus with mesh is they just won’t show up scratches the same, handy for a desk diver.

I went for brushed not polished, but there was a choice then. The 170mm version to fit my 7-5/8” wrist and allow me to wear loosely. Needed to take out one of the two segments and move bracelet pin in one notch.

Lemme guess 'WatchGecko',
may I recommend the Zulu diver NATO in wet Bond - Black and Grey stripes, best £6 you will spend in a long time.
Also the French Military thin Stripe Webbing Strap is a bargain.
Don't forget voucher code 'NEWSLETTER' or 'Watchuseek' if you spend enough for 10% off.
As per OP, no trade in watch asked for when I picked mine up from a local small city Waitrose.
