Seems a decent price for a kinetic (automatic) watch, quite a few in stock as well

Probably worth it just for the strap.

Good find but personally I'm not keen on the face! Love kinetic watches though I'm wearing one now

Solid smart watches. These deals come up every now and again on eBay/Argos. I bought one before and still love it. Good price at £70 where most Kinetic are £100+

nice one

Looked elsewhere and can't find it cheaper than £150 so yeah good price.

Asked wife to buy me one for my birthday!

Thanks, just ordered one......

wot no day.

It's quartz (battery) not automatic!

I bought the same watch with a blue dial a few weeks back for 70 or 80. Excellent watch and I took it into store to get it adjusted for free

The Quartz is powered by Kinetic energy held in a capacitor not a battery.

Actually it's both.
A rotating pendulum inside the case is attached to a relatively large gear which meshes with a very small pinion. As the wearer moves, the pendulum turns and spins the pinion at a very high speed - up to 100,000 rpm. This is coupled to a miniature electrical generator which charges a storage device which is a capacitor(s) or a rechargeable battery.

Good deal, I ended up taking the plunge for one, I have a few Seiko Kinetics and they are great watch. I think once it arrives I'll be removing the strap and putting on a NATO or Perlon strap to change it up a little, should be a nice daily.

Anyone know if the strap is solid or folded?

Would have bought blue but maybe the Kenetic principle isn't for me as you need to wear watch a lot

I've gone for it. I've been after a solid casual watch for months, but could never find one as nice as this, plus £70 is a steal for a kinetic Seiko.

Surely the picture is not of the watch for sale?......
The description states......
This stylish Seiko Gents Kinetic Watch features a sleek black ion plated case and bezel. It also has a black dial with date window and a black ion plated bracelet.
That description and the model number Seiko SKA707P9 appears to be referring to to this watch......

If it turns out it's that one, even better. I'm a big fan of black watches. Also it retails at slightly higher, so return it or sell it on.

I have an older version of the same watch bought in US back in 2006 and it is still going . I have worn it daily since then with a break of 8 months as I was tired of it. So would recommend it to anyone.

Ooh i'm liking the black version can anyone confirm it's definitely that one?

The leather one looks nice too. I went for the metal but really hope it comes black! I bought a titanium kinetic Seiko 10 years ago and it's great, I just got a little bored of it and I chipped the face of the glass also got a few scratches on the bracelet

If you Google the model number SKA 707PL it shows it with more of a grey rather than black case - still a nice looking watch though and have just ordered it!!!

What size is the watch face?

Oooh, tell me what else you're wearing....

Nice find! Even nicer if it is the all black version as the description indicates.

definitely a good price for a Seiko.

Arm has been "occupied" by a fitbit. oO I don't really want to be without tracking data. Makes owning a watch hard. oO

Excellent price - half what most are charging for this watch, leather strapped version also in clearance at Argos / Ebay, looks even better than the stainless IMHO. Just bought one of each

Just found that ..... So safe to say it is likely to be Silver.

Don't like the look, but great price - voted hot

Looks like it. Shame as I really like the look of the black, though at this price, I'm not too upset! (if they honour it)

great watches, still got mine from 1990 and it is used daily, had to fit a new capacitor a few years ago but it is simple to do and i also need to put it on my home made winder (old kenwood ice cream maker) once every six months to give it a good charge up.

To be honest, I think the images used by Argos are simply poor and thus the Silver will look better than it appears. With only 8 left I took the plunge.
