Heat from me. Seiko's watches are well made and great value.

Out of stock

Doesn't look "dressy" enough for me . Looks like sort of watch I would have worn in my teens, except at this price I wouldn't have been afford to buy one.

Lovely. I have a 1973 version of this watch. Tempted to buy one.

I like Seiko but I'm pretty sure their chief designer had a week off when that thing was designed.

'Fugly' is the technical term to describe this

'Some day, all watches will be made this way'..my ars.e

Beautiful, Seiko continue to manufacture watches with fit and finish far above their asking prices.

The original version was called SEIKO POGUE PEPSI -1972

Appears to be put of stock now. Nice watch. If you want similar Pepsi dive watch but want cheaper then go for an Orient Mako or Ray. They're good watches.

Aesthetics aside (some will love and admire, others will think WTF).
The 4R36 movement is reliable, features hacking and can be manually wound.
It's important that buyers understand that this is an automatic watch - it will not be precise and you should expect it to deviate by up to - 35/+45 seconds a day.
If you desire a watch that you never need to adjust, buy a quartz movement.

There is a higher spec movement (the 6R15) which is notably more accurate and has a longer (50 hour) power reserve (as opposed to 40 hours) but this is somewhat more expensive.

The nature of the case means that it will appear a little smaller on the wrist than many 45mm case diameter watches - From my perspective, I think that's an aesthetic positive (unless you really are a pilot or a diver)

I like

Dive watches aren't dress watches. Get a nice Seiko SARB or Grand Seiko to accompany this one and you'll be fine!

This is a good price for the PADI version of the SRP......
The standard SRP Turtle Seiko's can be had from Creation for just under £200..... if you want to take a chance on not getting stung by customs. Most seem to get through without import taxes from this seller. I've ordered from them myself.

I've seriously thought about getting a Turtle, its an iconic case design Diver from the 70's that Seiko brought back recently. This watch gets a lot of love on Watchuseek.

I have one with the blue bezel/dial - it's a great watch, I prefer it with the rubber strap as it is quite weighty, but basically looks like the apocalypse now version except without 40 years worth of wear and actually waterproof..in my opinion anyone who is serious about watches should have one in their collection either as a daily wearer or work watch...at 200 quid I'd grab the one from creation.. the rubber strap one is even cheaper..

I expect i'll probably buy a Turtle sometime..... not just yet though, already spent £200 on a couple of watches only this month.
Along with the Turtle, the SKX007 and a Vostok Amphibia is also on my hit list..... and by the time i buy them, there's bound to be more wants.

Its an illness.
