Seiko Watch Prospex Sumo Chrono - £450 (With Code) @ Jura Watches

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

The new Solar Seiko Chronograph is available at CW Sellors at an unbeatable £450
(£100 off the cheapest UK authorized sellers sale price)

8% Quidco on full priced! Possible £414

They sent me a £100 off over £250 spend voucher valid on watches FULL priced and only certain brands

Tissot and Seiko definitely reduce, Tag do not.
Try the code for yourself, it could be a one off code but all three emails I have, had the message sent.

I am not a fan of Solar in Seiko, I suppose a Monster for £300 is an okay price.

Don't be put off, full UK warranty and likely local stores, almost mid tier grade the chances of an unreliable Solar Seiko are slim.

Edit :
Try these other codes I had saved in a notepad, might work on other brands

Nice watch. Good post.
Yup, it's got screw down Chrono pushers.

I wouldn't pay more for the Bracelet version,
It's okay, but the quality is missing.

Go to Watchgecko and buy a Jubilee or Engineer if you must wear a metal bracelet,
remember though real men wear NATO.
Watchgecko voucher code -
NEWSLETTER' for 10% off your next order

It's kind of scalloped and wears like an SKX,
that means a 6" and over wrist could wear it.

OP why aren't you a fan of solar Seiko's?
Only asking as I've got a Seiko solar chrono which seems to have packed up - not impressed
Awful, previous JDM generation was way more classy...

Phil you've added another notch to the Seiko Solar unreliability list.

As many watch Obsessives/Compulsives do
I research before I even know I want to buy.
Movements are easy to check up on
and the Seiko V Solar is no 'Casio' or the masters of Solar 'Citizen'.

Even after years attempting to perfect Solar, Seiko's were failing in much to high numbers.
Still I had to try one and wanted to try a GPS Solar,
So rolled a dice and bought one new from the USA £200 (limited warranty),
It failed after 8 months.

Lesson taken,
probably not lesson learnt yet!

Damn, I was loving my Seiko solar starfish too.
Hope it doesn't meet a sudden end.
Thanks for all the information given
Very interesting.
To even things up, I've also got an eco-drive that's giving up the ghost.
Code seems to work for other watches,
NOT bit the bullet tho'

They had the GMW-B5000D for £270 last week.
Gorgeous looking watch
Thanks. I missed an SRPD63K1 for £156 earlier this week, so have grabbed one for £160 using this code.

Solar GPS for £200? Wow (although I get it was subsequently not a good thing!).

Cheap usually comes at a price.. headscratch.

Lots of watch cases fit other movements,
It's likely a more 'robust' one will fit mine.
Phil could fix it similar with his faulty one.

Once bought an ugly duckling 262khz Bulova
<£50 just for the movement as a spare (I've a few..)
YUP it died within 6 months!

Most people would get the best enjoyment from a 200m Marilnesque Casio £25-50
I've a few, one that looks like a Sea-Dweller and is an unsellable beauty.

Whats the code for this discount?
Think I saw this code on MoT forums the other night (not implying anything - and the thread gets so long I'd have to hunt to find it again)

How did you get half way down the thread without seeing the £100 off voucher code that's used on the Seiko?
I grabbed my torch in case there are other Trolls in the dark.

6942099 = £100 off any full priced watch over £250
Only certain brands.

Voucher can be added after continue to CWSellors at PayPal
Although they are pretty to look at, avoid the cheaper Auto Tissot, they have the disposable Swatch Sys51 in,

Hate to say it but avoid the Hand wind Hamilton's, 24 months the Crown fails out like clockwork (a play on words lo)

As likely the £100 discount will be used on a different watch,
I wanted to steer some away from a less than great experience.
It's a minefield for most.

My original comment was just highlighting my surprise at how you got a solar GPS seiko so cheap (unless it was used?).
Heard this sumo watch was a bit heavy

Honestly don't understand the post. The watch is £550 - £100 code = £450. Where does £300 come from???

Oh,
as Seiko Solar aren't really rock solid,
an alternative watch would be a Seiko Monster, automatic and similar grade to Sumo,
The £100 discount makes it £300

TBH if you don't know what a Monster is,
I wouldn't be looking at a Sumo as they are a tool for a specific job with a lovelyweight and size to them.
They ain't no Cocktail Hour.

I know the old Auto is Heavy,
this Solar version might only be 'a bit heavy' true

I've a few Titanium watches, old 'real' Titanium and new hardened Coated Ti.
40% lighter than Steel.

I will likely never buy another Titanium (or Carbon) Watch again, they're too light,
you soon get used to heavy Watches and get an aesthetic that makes you appreciate it more.

Also read Dr No,
Bond tells you of other reasons to wear Heavier Watches..

Oh, I am Shrewd.
Brands new £200 new from the USA.
Didn't pay import tax, all was looking good..

I'm off work with a Virus, so am having fun answering comments, apologies if I don't make sense, I feel terrible, lo

LOL, I only get it now.
I've a Virus (no joke) so ain't feeling top tier.
So have time to add some watch deals and banter to the threads.
I had to ask what an elastic band was called earlier, I'm so fuzzy.

There actually is the 'New' Seiko Save the Ocean Chronograph with the full face that is good value for £300 from CW Sellors with the £100 off

That deserves a listing, voucher only valid 1 more day.
