Selected Plants and Trees - 50% off @ B&Q

Happened to pop into the Lincoln Branch today as I wanted a Bay Tree from them. And noticed a sign up in the garden area saying "selected plants and trees at 1/2 price"

So all of the Bay Trees are marked down as 50% off, including Acer Trees, Bamboo Plants and many more.

Got what I wanted and a few others to fill out the garden (glad I waited now)

1st deal too

Hi,

I was at B&Q on Sunday and was tempted paying out on normal price for a acer and bay tree. LIke I said, glad I waited But not sure when the offer came on to be honest.

Have scooted off to Scunthorpe depot and got myself another 2 trees as the Acers are lovely things (and another bay tree lol)

This time, noticed that Apple Trees are on offer as well.

You sure about this? I don't see anything on the Lidl website.

They're complete morons when it comes to plants especially bedding. They neglect to care for them and wait until they are nearly dead then reduce them just a day befor ending uo on the compost heap. Same for bulbs.
Surely this costs & wastes plants?
But why?

Who wants to buy a twig of the plant that is already dead for 10p? - least wilkco's get shot of their plants with some leaves on it so you can take your chances of rescuing them

My haul of Trees etc on this deal is doing nicely so a good deal for me considering the local garden centre wanted £50 for a bay tree for half the size of the £25 one I picked up last week (shame the bloody grass seeds don't want to know at the moment)
