Was in my local WH Smith in Belfast and noticed a selection of blu-rays at "half marked price" including:

Sex and the City
Speed Racer
Spiderwick Chronicles
Layer Cake
The Eye
One Missed Call
Layer Cake
Incredible Hulk

I bought Sex and the City for the wife and Hulk for me - £9.50 total! They also had a few blu-rays in a 3 for £10 including Ocean's Thirteen, Eragon, Hitch and Santa Clause 3. There may have been others.

I have photographs for this offer, but it appears I can only post photos via a URL? I have no way to do this myself.

Thanks - will do when I get home. Our network blocks access to any sort of file-sharing site!

Seems to be that this offer has been around for a while now (as I saw the same offer in Bath about 3 weeks ago). More and more stock seems to be turning up at different stores, but it seems to be the same titles!

But thanks to the OP for letting people who might of missed the previous posts that stock is still available

All of those (except Layer cake) are now on offer in cambridge branch too, also Cloverfield and Shawshank Redemption. Only had Kung-Fu Panda and Indiana Jones before today.

i got Indiana Jones for £4.50 last week but it was the only one marked up half price

with the exception of layer cake, (and possibly spiderwick cronicles I have no real opinion) these are all imo lame.

However if this was just layer cake for £4.50 I would give some heat so why should the others drag it down.

Have some heat

You like Layer Cake so much its listed twice hehe

Picked up Kung Fu Panda for £4.50 three or four weeks ago, worth a look if you are passing but wouldn't make a special trip, has been this price a while.

Fyi, none in Smiths at The Mall, Cribs Causeway - Bristol. Just got back.
Hot deal if your lucky

I know where im going tomorrow

My WH Smith never have anything :x

might have to pop into smiths tomorrow

Layer Cake is top notch, but Layer Cake is crap.

Just ordered an LG BD 390, think I'll treat myself to Speed Racer. Should look great in HD. Thanks OP.

Surely £4.50+£4.50 is £9.00

Or are they all different prices?

In answer to an earlier question, Hulk was £5 - that was the most expensive - the rest were £4.50. One Missed Call was the remake, though they had a couple of copies with the 3D cover.

It does appear that the titles do differ between stores so I will checking every day to see what other bargain blu-rays I can pick up
