Try to pay on a credit card or with Paypal. Cath Kidston are in serious financial difficulty and may not survive a week unless they find a buyer. You don't want to become an unsecured creditor if that happens.Sky News
With partner working from home due to lockdown, I can no longer indulge in these online shopping Voted hot though.

Oof, glad I paid on PayPal.
Ill be gutted if they go under, I love their designs.
Lovely thank you for this. I’ve always admired these bags and never been able to afford one myself. I won £20 on bingo the other day so I just treated myself to the handbag backpack. Thank you.
Annoying, I’m after a laptop bag but they don’t seem to do them anymore 😏

I think cc only works if over £100. Happy to be corrected.
That's correct. It's why I also said or with PayPal. Some of their products are quite pricey and so a good chance some people are spending over £100.

I like them too, but they're mostly very classic patterns with very good build quality. It's a fairly easy niche to fill again. Chances are somebody will buy the Cath Kidston name and largely start it again.

"In 1974, the government reformed the law concerning consumer credit. Under Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act, credit cards must provide protection for purchases above £100 and below £30,000."
Tried to add a bag to my basket, which is in stock, but not possible.

what about the Klarna pay in 30 days option

what about the Klarna pay in 30 days option

Klarna is a Swedish company and looking at their T's and C's, they make reference only to Swedish law. I cannot see any reference to the consumer protections you get under S.75 of the Consumer Credit Act and so you would need to do your own digging into swedish law to determine what position you would be in.

The law's specific on this, you get the protection for the whole cost of an item or service, even if you only pay for a part of it – even just 1p would count – on credit. The only condition is that what you're buying costs more than £100 and less than £30,000.

I understand. The question I was answering was how much do you have to spend on your cc to be covered not how much are you covered for. This was on the basis that the bags costing £13.50 etc was not enough of a spend for cc protection. As the person who posted the original point reiterated there is Paypal to cover lesser spends.
Ahh I see your point
Thanks, ordered 2 backbacks, worked out at just over £15 each. Its hard to believe that things may be normal again by then but they are Christmas presents lol
Got mine today
