Found 22nd Jan 2014
Boots have a 3for2 offer on their home and fragrance- Inc Yankee candle. I'm always on the lookout to buy these as cheap as I can, and stock up whilst they're on offer.
Currently the best offer around (that I can find) available for everyone... No wild goose chases!

I've just bought the 3 large jars for £39.98 with free in store collection.

You can get---

3x box of 12 tea lights for £13.50
3x Small jars for £16.78
3x Medium jars for £33.98
3x Large jars for £39.98

Pillar candles, reed diffusers, and gift sets are also included in the 3for2.

Free store collection has a minimum of £20 spend or a £1.95 charge for under £20.
Free home delivery if you spend over £45

If you feel like splashing out and stocking up there is a 10% discount code for orders over £70 (thanks to wanshifenda for posting the code in vouchers)

Use code QD114T1 (must be signed in to boots to show discount)

I've set the price as 0 as it depends on what you buy and how much you spend for the final total

Much appreciated, thank you manic91 xx

can anyone tell me why this brand is so expensive in comparison to other scented candles etc. Is it the burn time or fragrance that makes them a good buy? I have been tempted to buy but wanted to ask first. thanks

For me it's a number of reasons. They smell exactly like they say they do, that's one of the beauties of Yankee candle. The scent is long lasting too. I've been burning my sparkling cinnamon today for a few hours, I blew it out about an hour ago and I can still smell the scent throughout my home. The candles don't tunnel like other candles, they burn evenly all down to the last bit. The large jars will last around 150hrs. They don't produce any smoke or black smoke whilst lit.
They are expensive but you will replace them less often

You can buy yankee candle votive candles and these are like a sampler. If you've never had a yankee before I would suggest buying one or two of these to try first. You can pick them up for under £2 each.
I love yankee but you may disagree after you've tried one, and it will be a lot of money to waste if indeed you decide they're not for you.

half price at clintons (has been posted today)

How do you rate the simply home compared to the classic Yankee's? Is there much difference?

You're very welcome!

Any idea how long this promotion will last?
Two of the scents I want to order (Black Coconut & Pink Sands Large Jar) says "stock coming soon", though it has said that for a week.

Half price all the time if you have a hallmark outlet nearby.

The offer is on in Boots stores too.

bought 6, thanks.

Yankee candles smell great, almost good enough to eat.
I say this as a very blokey bloke.
Heat.

thank you

I was a Yankee candle freak until I discovered village candles. They are £11 for a large jar (slightly bigger than Yankee) and the smell in my opinion outdoes Yankee. I am so skeptical of fragranced candles so took a gamble on village and boy did it pay off. I recommend them 100% you won't be disappointed!

Kringle are excellent too. Never heard of village candles. Who stocks them please? I like the tea lights so will have a look. The big jars smoke for me even with a shade on so I won't buy Yankee jars any more.

They smell lovely

Has anyone tried Price's candles, they are supposed to be good?

The medium ones are £8 each in asda so that's 24 quid for 3 instead of 33.98??? And the large are £11 each so again still saving?

Where do you get your village candles from? I think Yankee is over rated these days

Cargo home store sell Village Candles - at least the Leamington Spa branch does.
