Mole & Vise etc are brand names

And are much better than these cheese pliers. That said, I have a set of the Screwfix ones and they are OK, but quality control pretty awful as I had to exchange one pair out of three because it didn't even open!

I know vise is but I don't know about mole. Have you got an image of a mole branded one of these?

I use the likes of these for welding clamps, or for adapting for one off jobs. Mostly sacrificial work where you don't want to destroy a good tool.

Jusy get the real thing
Bought these a couple of years ago from Toolstation. They are ok for light jobs but they are not very strong and wear very quickly.
Odd , I knew Mole was THE brand but not Vise .
Got a few pairs from car boot - last ones only Mole brand
Currently have the same in Screwfix for £4.99. This has been posted already today if you have a look.
