Send it and lose it with these cowboys oO

Would not send with these again.... even if they paid me.... ever... cowboys is to polite

DO NOT TOUCH PARCEL2GO. They will not pay your claim. Go direct and pay the extra. myHermes suck, but they ALWAYS pay the claim for missing or damaged items (Just be sure to insure it for the full amount).

I dont understand why parccel2go saying price drop once you get the quotations its only 9pence cheaper than myhermes booking directly for less insurance value .

Send it and lose it with these cowboys oO

Once you add on the essential extras, signature, insurance.....

Good price, but unfortunately I've had a few problems with hermes over the last few years and I'm not sure I'd send anything with them without protection or signature

Never, even again will I use these rogues. Just try and claim and then you'll see. I now go direct to Hermes and I must admit their service has improved over the last 6 months and claiming is a doddle compared to Parcel2Go or Royal Mail.

Myherpes are best avoided

Sold over 500 items on eBay. About 20 of them through My Hermes on similar offers when the item was big and bulky. 4 lost, 2 at the same time. MONTHS of hassle, lied to, "item posted through letterbox" despite the parcel being almost 40cm wide and cubic, no customer service later I got compensation through PayPal. Always go with PayPal, even though they are $h!+$ to sellers the rest of the time. Incidentally Royal Mail had the bulk of the other 480 items and never lost or damaged one. Hermes give cowboys and dodgy builders a bad name.

Thanks OP, just in time for all the birthdays coming up in my family.

Parcel2go is crap!! They lost my item using hermes and then customer support at p2go was pain!!

I just spent frikkin 12 quid sending a 3kg parcel via parcel force

Price dropped, just like the parcels.

Thanks OP
I have used myHermes over 100 times within last year and they mislaid/lost 1 parcel and
gave me full refund for item and delivery cost, so 99% from me.

great it you want fragile heavy parcels thrown over 2m high fences into gardens. worst delivery company going.

Would avoid this company at all costs

do not use my hermes if something goes wrong they do not care and getting hold of them to discuss the matter is another game in its self

F*** HERMES.

use these clowns at your peril.

you have been warned.... by multiple people

Sent over 500 parcels via Parcel2Go.com in the last 18 months (most using Hermes) - had 1 issue to date so no complaints from me.

Don't forget there may be a leg by airmail, I mean if they decide to chuck the parcel over your fence.

Have sent over a 1000 parcels with Hermes . Had around 5 problems. Each time I was refunded for the items with minimal fuss .

Maybe if you actually use Myhermes instead of trying to save a few pence by going through the comparison sites , you would see there actually quite good .

Ever tried claiming from Royal Mail ? . I would rather pull teeth .

Hermes failed to pick up one of my parcels 3 days running. When I contacted them they told me to take the parcel to a drop off point.... defeats the whole idea of their collection service. The worst bit is their tracking system is a complete lie! According to that my parcel was with the recipients local courier, awaiting delivery. When in fact it was sat in my hallway.

on the 4th day they did turn up, without an apology or anything. Took weeks to get a partial refund and despite asking several times they refused point blank to comment on the tracking info. I will never use Hermes again.

don't use parcel 2 go.
they will not pay for your insured claim.
and they have recently started asking for excess fees after you sent your item.they just make up some bs claim about your parcel being above claimed measure/size and you can't do nothing.

Sent over 100 Parcels direct through Hermes drop off over the last year with only 1 issue which was refunded promptly. For reasonably low value, non fragile items they are pretty decent and only take 2 days to deliver so always way ahead of the expected delivery date. Definitely recommend going directly through Hermes though.

I used hermes through Parcel Hero and never has a problem except this one item lost and was refunded. I'm not sure p2g but parcel hero has been alright with £50 cover included

I had an issue with Hermes in past and they customer services is crap.... Avoid Hermes parcel service.

Not if they paid me.

As an aspiring recipient of Hermes, I've wasted so many hours and been burned so many times I now get a Pavlovian blood-lust response just seeing the logo. I want that company and it's ridiculous name to go down in flames.

Not sure why user experience for RM/Hermes varies so wildly, whether it's to do with national location or quality of local drivers etc. Its clear a lot of people do just fine with Hermes. And some have had terrible experiences with Royal Mail. For me, it's the reverse.

Her-freakin-mes. Three times failed to deliver next day after they screwed up the first time. Multiple times they have failed to ring the doorbell. Too thick to locate it, or an excuse to drop a note through the door when they don't have the package? Who knows. Twice failed to locate simple addresses. Twice had 'Package left with neighbour' notes through the door.. with no details of their address.

Regarding Royal Mail, I've sent about 50 Signed For packages and 1 went astray. Completed the online form, cheque for the full amount + postage refund arrived a month later.

Avoid it at any cost!!! Worst company on Earth!
Their customer service is rubbish. They lost my parcel - waited nearly month for refund, their tracking provides false information, never deliver on time. Its better to pay few pounds more!!!

Drop your parcel off at one of the collection points and thats it, it goes into a big black hole never to be seen again!
If you have somthing or someone (mother in law) you never want to see again wrap it/them up and courier via MyHerpes!

Avoid they are dire

Last time I had a parcel delivered from myHermes: The guy knocked on the door, waited a whole 0.01 of second, then turned around and walked back to his vehicle (on CCTV) had to catch him before he drove off. Unfortunately, my room to front door teleport was turned off at the time.

I am not sure why anyone would consider this good value, My Hermes charge VAT on that price so comes so close to Royal Mail and Royal Mail are available at all post offices and when you consider there is a Post Office in easy reach of everyone it makes more sense. Also how much coverage do you get with MyHermes.
i have lost two parcels through myhermes.....never again.

unfortunately sometimes you cannot know the goods you bought were sent by HERPES)%%
In all occurrences last year 7 to be exact all were either lost or stolen
but savvy shopping meant i got full refund on all

HERMES ARE A JOKE COMPANY USELESS
and on one other time they said they had delivered to me the parcel was found a day later in a pool of water under my outside stair well ,electronics of course
nuff said

oO never ever Hermes or Yodel!!!
Wanna lose your parcel? Cheaper and closer to your garbage bin. Trust me... less stress

I've used both Parcel2go and myHermes over the past three months for about 30 items in total. Never had a problem with either.

I have most trouble with RMail. I expect losses no matter who i use but claiming via RM is annoying. I send a fair amount but after your first couple of claims they start adding in extra hoops. They require the recipient to fill in a form too but for ebay buyers I've yet to have one that did so that means no compensation.

Hermes direct has paid out when i provided what they needed and faster than RM.

Surprisingly P2Go has been the easiest at paying out. Only took days. I had several items lost with InPost back in the day when CityLink were doing it but it was still within reasonable number of losses compared to RM. That is a huge turnaround from the olden days when even contacting them was like trying to find proof of god.

True, their tracking system info often states lies. I've had this happen many times.
Worst customer service ever or lack of it.
Their telephone number does not allow you to speak to anyone. Why?

Can anyone tell me if this is a permanent price drop or a time-limited special offer? Diolch
