This is a brilliant company I use them about 3 times a year when I'm going back to holland from nr. ireland. I always use my mothers old hoover box 85×35××35cm with up to 25 kilos for £26. The pick it up exactly on time and it's always carried into my hall In holland, It's great for me to get all my hukd bargains home with only one delivery charge.

Is there an option to pay extra for a signature do you know?

It's included in the cost as per their website

"The recipient will need to sign for the parcel and everything is fully trackable online"

A word of warning. I tried to use a locker last night. It failed to recognise the barcode and then opened a locker that had a large parcel already in it! Being an honest chap I closed the locker.
Having said this I have used it once before without any problem.
    Does make you think though...

OMG that's enough to put me off,I'd rather pay more for a service where someone can't get into the locker randomly

I looked into this and actually chose this as my delivery service on an ebay listing. I then saw some bad reviews on some website or other so ended up editing the listing back to another service. Anyone here actually used InPost?? £1.20 sounds great but it appears there's no signature so maybe not that good for ebay, and some problems with lockers being full or having other people's parcels still there. and probs contacting cust servs, so not sure it's worth it.

Don't forget to check the size of the box to meet their requirements. Has to fit the locker. Wasn't able to send due to awkward shape.

Great deal but the nearest drop off locker is 25 miles from me

    1kg packet to UK = £10.76
    1kg packet to Netheralnds = £18

Is there a code to use or something? Parcelmonkey is giving far better prices.

Great deal but lockers seem to be few and far between. My closest is a 14 mile trip.

I used it on monday after seeing the parcel2go listing. I sent 5 cheap items as a test, they all are marked as delivered as of yesterday so within 2 days of being dispatched and I have gotten positive feedback from 1 so all seems ok so far.

The problem I had was my nearest locker was just 1km away from me so I thought great, but on the day after I paid and printed labels it didn't show up so lockers were full, then the nearest was 4 miles so not too bad, but still a little inconvenient.

Do these only deliver to another locker for pickup or can it be sent straight to the recipient's house? Don't know why I can't find that info on their website o_O

Kate - Parcels get sent to the recipient's house.

I used InPost three times over the past week as I have an InPost locker less than a mile away from me. Took me 60 seconds to press the touch-screen on the locker, scan my parcel barcode and place it in the locker. Tracked the parcels online and all were delivered next day:

    Date Status history
    2014-07-14, 10:38 Goods collected
2014-07-14, 16:42 On route to delivery depot
    2014-07-14, 16:55 Awaiting Collection
2014-07-15, 04:15 Arrived at Delivery Depot
    2014-07-15, 06:57 Goods loaded onto a van
    2014-07-15, 16:10 Goods Delivered

Great concept and saves me loads of time queuing at the Post Office or waiting for items to be collected.

Used this service the other day and the locker system is pretty cool, its available 24 hours a day. It took 20 seconds from start to finish and even emails you a receipt!

I've sent about 10 eBay items using InPost in the last couple of weeks with no problems. Other services are faster but for £1.20 I have no complaints so far. The voice on the InPost locker machine is a bit like the sorting hat in Harry Potter!
  35. deleted665109's avatar
probably a daft question, is it just within the UK?
  36. deleted475912's avatar
I also tried it today and having had no luck with the barcode (probably me being stupid) I noticed it had sprung open a locker with a large parcel in it. After closing it over, the screen then froze, so I couldn't use it. Just been back hours later and the same still frozen. Very frustrating.
