Send up to 30Gb files using the revolutionary FREE FileMail

One of the biggest limitations of email is sending files. Almost every email provider imposes limits on the size of files that can be sent through their service, which is fine for sending documents and spreadsheets, but when you need to send something really large, that’s when issues arise.

Enter FileMail, an awesome service that allows you to send massive files up to 30 gigabytes on a free account (with no size restriction on a premium account) to anyone.

It's a free Web app where – without registration or login – you simply select a file, type in someone's e-mail and click 'send'. The recipient gets a link and downloads your file. That’s it!

People loved this simplicity. Today, we have more than 200 000 users who send up to 800 terabytes of files each month. Many of them liked our service enough to take up paid subscriptions or flexible business tariffs.

We now have servers in USA, Europe and Asia to make file sending just as smooth all around the world. We have also developed software plugins, desktop apps, mobile apps and a kickass API that can help you get your work done.

FileMail...
Is faster and hassle-free compared to sharing via cloud drives
Is simpler than uploading to file hosting services
Offers much higher file size limit than e-mail accounts
Doesn't force people who receive your files to register anywhere or install anything
Integrates seamlessly with popular e-mail software
Offers better transfer speeds than other free services

you are most welcome.

Not to rain on anyones parade but you dont for one minute think this site will be around for a while do you ? The copyright people will be all over this site like a rash. requests for file takedowns will be huge as pirates go crazy. I wouldn't count on it being around for long.

file sharing's wet dream.

Seems to have been around for years already according to Wikipedia and I don't see how "copyright people" could have an interest as I don't see how you could search or post online links to any of the files being shared.

Just post the link you get emailed.

While I doubt a site that deletes the files every 7 days is going to become a prolific host of copyrighted material, I have to disagree with this being "revolutionary" (their description, not yours!). It is pretty much the same as any other file sharing service, it merely sends an email with the download link instead of displaying on the page.

The most important question is what are the speeds like? No good being able to send huge files if the speeds are limited to 50kb/s like a lot of smaller file hosting sites are.

Looks good.
Just like mailbigfile I guess, but bigger...

have some heat!

looks handy

Not quite 30GB but at 2GB wetransfer.com is just as good. Even get download tracking and most importantly no fees.

Great idea, but I am not going to buy in to this as uploading would talk an age. What I do is 'share my folder' with Dropbox, Skydrive and Google Drive - typically right click on the folder and 'share' enter the email address of the person, they will get a link. This can be a one way (just get the files) or two way (they can add and amend the files).

Could have done with knowing about this a couple of months ago. Heat from me!
