This is a great watch even for non F1 Fans.

Senna is the true story of Brazilian motor-racing legend, Ayrton Senna, whom many believe was the greatest driver who ever lived. Spanning Senna's titanic Formula One career, the film charts his physical and spiritual journey, both on track and off; his quest for perfection and his ultimate transformation from a supremely gifted novice, who exploded into F1 in 1984, to myth after the tragic events of Imola in 1994. Made with the full co-operation of the Senna family and Formula One Management, Senna is the first official documentary feature about his life, featuring astounding archive material, much of which is previously unseen.

Special Features:

Feature Commentary with Director and Filmmakers (non-branched only)
The Greatest Victory of All
"Lost" Radio interview with Gerald Donaldson
Interviews (Option from menu to watch branched or non-branched versions of film with English forced narratives)

Good price for the blu ray. I loved this.
A great driver.... even better than Schuey in his heyday
Bought. Thanks OP.
Great price.
great price, heat added
I always get senna confused with 'hanna', they have similar sounding names, and the covers look exactly th same.
Touching documentary, strongly recommended. I watched it in Sky Movies, good price if you are a collector.
My hero.

I was devastated when he died.

no a good price for a collector is the £14 i paid on release for the digibook which is now worth £60+ - id never sell it though. good price for the bog standard bluray though.
To bad you never know if Zavvi have it in stock or not. Great price though!

Cheapest for that I could find was £75 and next was £100
but great price for the blu-ray heat added
I've got this. The most pointless Blu-Ray ever, as all the footage is old 80s clips and it's like watching youtube.

Ignorant.

Tell me roughly how long it would take you to watch all the clips in chronological order, with the correct music, audio commentary etc and whether watching it in that way would result in the build up of emotion that thousands/millions of people experienced when watching this film?

I have no interest in F1, never have. But this guy is a genuine legend. Shame it took me 18 years after his death to realise. I am not afraid to admit I shed a tear at the end.

I'm sure you could cobble together most films from clips available on the internet - if thats your bag, good luck to you. Other - ridiculous people prefer to watch things in full HD with HD Audio that just runs from start to finish without having to search youtube between each clip.

Also, if its the most pointless Blu-Ray ever, why have you still got it?
It's a great film but I was disappointed that so many things were left out, for example

- Senna running to Eric Coma's car (only shown in the credits)
- Senna's friendship with Berger (nothing about that at all)
- The Donington 93 opening lap (not sure, but I think it was shown very, very short)
- The Senna/Irvine incident

I think what welshman10 means is that it makes no difference if you buy the DVD or the Blu-ray. I got the Triple Play CE and there's no visual difference between those two. But at this price it doesn't really matter.

Ok - fair enough - I get the point about it being a waste of bluray - ie the best quality you can get from an 80's video is an 80's video - sorry if I missed the point. Sorry Welshman10 - my bad.

I suppose its like having the most expensive canvas in the world then painting on it with a poundland paintbrush...(no offence to poundland)
Cheers
Yes, just to clarify what I meant was that you may as well get the DVD if it's any cheaper.

I enjoyed the film, but there is very little HD content.

I enjoyed your rant, though, bigsven

I'm off now to recreate the film Titanic from old youtube footage
Buuuuuuyyyyyyyyy it! Everyone should own a copy

What a great idea for a competition - or even a new genre of film - complete recreation of classic films using only clips available on youtube/the internet...send me a copy of your version of titanic...

Sorry again.
I'd like to buy this for my Dad who doesn't have a Blu Ray player. Anyone know of a good price on DVD please? Best I found was £6.99 @ Amazon.
This price is no longer available?
DVD available at £6.95 though? Plus topcashback
