Link not working

Always issues with the Sennheiser Outlet links! Please just search "senneheiser outlet" in a search engine, it should be the top link.
I've also tried fixing the link.
Edited by: "rev6" 13th Jan
Was £95 2 weeks ago & £65 last week so a v.good price
Hot, have fun with the broken link
Bought thanks
how is it vs creative blasterx g6?
I own one of these, fantastic bit of kit!
Would this increase volume on sony wh-1000xm3?

If you used them wired perhaps, but it depends what you currently use.
Very good price, good find
I bought the GSX-1000 and it's back in the box waiting to be returned. Sound was alright, functionality was alright, but the price you can get better.

The surround sound is crap, everyone raves about it but tbh, it ruins the sounds. The actual dac inside is a cheap one, so it's typical gaming hype product.

I bought the Soundblaster AE-5 soundcard for pc for £100, amazing value for money, worth the extra if you can use a soundcard.

You bought a PCIe soundcar, I'm impressed
Would this compliment the HD660s?

Currently using this Fx-Audio X6 DAC but it's annoying switching between the headphones and my edifier speakers, since the DAC volume wheel exclusively controls headphone volume, so I have to find the remote to mute speakers or reach behind for the volume knob amazon.co.uk/FX-…c=1

I can't say about the pairing because I've never used this before
It looks easy to switch between headphones and speakers.

Do you care about good stereo audio quality? If so then don't get these.

If you want easy to use with surround sound features then this is fine.

I was also tired of switching, worked great, but discovered the DAC is cheap crap and decided to spend a bit more and get a soundcard.

I think this is only a 150ohm amp? Could be wrong.

The recommended headphone impedance is between 16 and 150 ohm.
Ah thanks guys,
The output switching feature would be very welcome, also it has a mic input which suggests my modmic cable would not need to split and trail off away to my PC. Both very enticing features.

I believe the 660s are 150 ohm impedance, which would put them on the max recommended limit..

I'm going to bite I think and shall return or sell it on if there's an obvious drop in audio quality/insufficient peak volume (current X6 DAC never goes over half volume on the knob)

Thanks for posting!
Thanks ordered 1200
I decided against because of the poor mic quality compared to motherboard. Check HardwareCannucks review on YouTube for audio comparison.

They may suit your needs, and it's convenient. But you have some damn good headphones there shame to not pair them with a good DAC.

Sound quality wise, from the looking at the specs, they should be identical. Don't quote me on it though!

It's the same unit, this one just has some sort of eSports specific feature for linking multiple units together.
How would this be with the Sennheiser 599? What would this do to them?
At this price you’d be better getting a dragonfly black from CeX when it comes back in stock from someone

I will add, buy this only if you want the 7.1 virtual surround sound for gaming. It is only compatible with 7.1 when you select 16bit output in windows. That means that when you toggle the surround sound back to 2.0 stereo on the Dac for music, it still only outputs in 16bit. To get 24bit stereo for HD music, you need to change the properties in the windows sound setting everytime, which is a real pain.
If you appreciate the higher quality music, keep this for gaming when surround is important to you and run it alongside a better quality DAC for your music listening pleasure. That way you can have the best of both worlds. For ease of use you can use software to make changing the default DAC (i.e. Macro keys), or alternatively use an elgato stream deck and set one of the buttons to do it.

You have lots of choices at this price range. Can you use a soundcard, does it need to be USB? What are your requirements?

I can't make a direct comparison, I can only tell you that the DAC in this unit is a cheaper one, I read somewhere that it's a 'mobile device' quality of DAC. Any decent dedicated USB Audio DAC is probably better.

DAC Magic XS, Dragonfly etc.

Mainly PC Gaming, I have an X470 Crosshair VII Hero motherboard with free PCI & PCIE slots?

Currently using the 660s and cheap Edifier R1800BT speakers, which I actually find decent enough, although I'm not sure how I will connect it to the GSX 1200 or whatever else I decide to use. At the moment im using RCA type cables to my X6 DAC

Ideally I'd like to be able to switch audio sources easily and have the mic cable running parrallel with my headphone cable
