Probably based on personal preference. I can't say I am a big fan of those, but a deal is a deal.

Thanks OP and this will get hot as it beats the recent best price by £1. If you've got Prime and don't need them in a hurry, don't forget to select the no-rush delivery option and get a £1 credit. It'll automatically be applied the next time you place an order for eligible Amazon Instant Videos, Kindle Books, or MP3 downloads.

Dam inflation though as they were less than £12 some 4 years ago here!

Paid 23 for these in argos the other day

oh man, I'm loving these white headphones, just like me, guess I'm born that way

Build quality isn't all that but for the sound quality at under £19 they're cheap if they only last a year or so!

would people recommend these for gym use?

Had mine for probably 4-5 years, using them right now, still going strong

E10s > these

Any ideas as to how good these are at staying in your ears if you get a bit sweaty while running?

Mine constantly fall out. Was considering ones with the little hook onto your ear but haven't bothered checking many out yet. (I'm on a budget too. Apparently buying food, clothes, etc for our 8 month old is more important than another pair of headphones :p)

never had these. using soundmagic e10s.

Cool story bro

Nice deal in time. I was looking to buy one yesterday and saw 29.99 and didn't act.

I had a pair of these but then moved onto the mm30i which has a built in mic. More convenient for those who listen to music on their phone. They're £22 in black on Amazon

Not sure about these, but when I got the black ones they came with three different sized rubber bits for your ears.

OOS on Amazon, plenty of stock at Argos at this price. Ordered there, thanks both.

I bought a pair of these for £30 last year from Argos. The quality is excellent when coupled with the comply foam ear buds. They don't come cheap at £5 a pair either though. IMHO well worth the upgrade.

Get some comply foam tips, I use similar headphones at the gym and they never fall out using them.

Currently unavailable at amazon - you can sign up for alerts, so presumably new stock is due.

Alternatively they have CX200 at £13.99

Argos is probably the most overpriced store in the UK, I don't know why anyone even shops there

To all saying SoundMagic are better, they are not. I am currently using E10s and I want to replace them as they always fall out the ear and the wire is so thin that the curls stay in it when its been in my pocket. They are good but by no means fantastic, and I bought them to replace these Sennheiser CX300s which I thought were much better, only the wire is stupidly long and very annoying once I splits down the middle. I know its a good deal but id like them even cheaper cos I've been there done that!

Any other recommendations? Anyone? I'm wanting to spend £25 or under for something decent... Any higher price is mostly always only branded/designer and not better quality when you're talking earphones.

Try monoprice buds, surprisingly good for the price. amazon.co.uk/dp/…2VM £4.24 and on prime.

Kinda tempted although quite happy with JVC Marshmallows atm

I love my E10s. I've had a few CX300s and thought they were great too (although I never paid as much as this)
The cable on the E10s were what stood out to me, I find it to be one of the best cables i've had. It doesn't tangle easily and doesn't pick up too much noise. I don't understand why yours hold any curls you've forced into them as the sleeving is designed to spring out. The buds however do fall out even just with casual use. I'm tempted to upgrade the tips.

No other suggestiosn though.

Good sound quality, but I think the build quality is poor, the wires get damaged pretty fast, I use them while travelling and at the gym. The Soundmagic P11 seems to be a better option, specially since it comes with a carrying bag.

Speaking of the E10's, does anyone know the best price for them at the moment? 30 seems a bit steep from Amazon

Yup the build quality is pretty bad. Worth remembering they have 2 year warranty though.

I actually had the 1st generation CX300 before... Are these better?

Got mine from argos the other day at this price....very good headphones.

I've had mine for about 4 years for £12 and they are still good :-)

If u can trust that they are not fake...

I prefer the E-10s for sound but their durability is truly atrocious. I only ever use my iPod/earphones during my daily commute and when I'm walking through town for a shop and I went through 4 pairs in 18 months. Despite being a careful owner the jack screwed up on every pair I owned which eventually meant sound failing on one bud, then two.

I owned the Senn CX300's and they withstood being stepped on and wrestled on after stepping in during a fight between drunks. Solid build.

If the E10 weren't as brittle as a 90 year old's hip they'd be faultless.

That's interesting feedback, as I have both as well, and for me the story is quite the opposite. I do trust Soundmagic products though, I think their products do fit the value-for-money category.

Hats off to the UK sellers, their customer service was great. Free replacements without question every time, it was only after the 4th pair kicked the bucket that I couldn't be bothered to hassle them again!
