Can't go wrong with Sennheisers, especially not when they usually retail at £54.99!

100% Genuine from Play.com as well, not a PlayTrader.

Beaten to this one!

To add, they are also available in titanium: play.com/Ele…tml (again from Play direct).

any good?

Also in "titanium" at the same price

Seems hot to me

Great headphones, very comfortable and excellent sound. Well worth £17.99

There is no way they are genuine Sennheiser at that price.

On 2 occasions I have tried to buy discounted Sennheiser headphones and on both occasions I got stung and ended up with fakes (confirmed by Sennheiser after posting them to their customer support team)

Now I had a long conversation with a Sennheiser customer service rep when this last happened to me and they told me that they do NOT EVER discount to that sort of price and also they only sell to authorised Sennheiser distributers.

I STRONGLY recommend that you speak to Sennheiser before making a purchase. There are loads and loads of fakes out there and they will tell you whether or not play.com is an authorised reseller. At £17.99 for a pair of £55 headphones, its pretty much gauranteed that they are fake..... but I could be wrong..... just ask Sennheiser first!

Thanks xavierx, thought I'd follow your suggestion and look into this as they do seem rather cheap for the 'real deal'. Contacted Sennheiser who said "I can confirm that Play.com are a pre approved Sennehiser dealer." There is a mention of possible fakes sold on auction websites eg. Play Fair Trade, but apparently Play.com is fine. Rang Play.com as well and they confirmed that they are an approved retailer and that they are genuine items (but then they would say that wouldn't they). I've ordered some, just a pity that the other colours have now gone up in price now, as didn't really want white!
