These headphones are brilliant and very good on planes, they don't even hurt my ears after a few hours use.

you can get them from amazon marketplace for about £9 all in. the ones i got were brand new in sennheiser packaging.

edit: they come with 2 year warranty aswell.

you have to be carefull with amazon marketplace as they sell fake one and they come in sennheiser packaging like the real one.

Ways to tell if its original or fake:

Original:
the letter "R" and "L" are thin
the right "R" line is 50cm long

Fake:
the letter "R" and "L" are bold
the right "R" line is 32-34cm long

Excellent product at a good price. They do isolate the ambient noise a bit too... Best earphones I've had....

I have 2 sets of these, one silver and one white... love them!

anyone used these and the koss spark plugs? my koss's died and now im wondering which ones to go for

asusboy

the right "R" line is 50cm long

Wouldn't fit in my ear. :-D

Do these come with the 2 different size fitments for your ears as I can tell that the big ones definitely wont fit in my ears (even though there big! The canal isn't).

Also does anyone know that site where you can buy the cheapest things on amazon so we can bump the price up to £15 for free delivery.

I've got these and the Koss Plugs, I'd say the sound was very similar in terms of quality, but the Sennheisers (if you use the right fit plug for your ear) are much more comfortable for prolonged periods. They are also better at isolating ambient noise than the Koss.

Make no mistake though, these are nothing compared to closed cans for musical ability, but for the price, I'd highly recommend.

Totally agree with asusboy about avoiding marketplace though, as there are a LOT of fakes circulating.

Mine certainly came with a spare smaller set of fitments.

Best earphones u can get for this price bracket. I use mine daily. Great find.

if you click on checkout, notice there are two of the same pairs of headphones which cost 17.99... in the picture there are the spare ear piece bits too... i'm guessing the 13.99 ones don't come with the extras... you might aswel buy the 17.99 ones and get free delivery no??

I avoid marketplace sellers too - had fake memory cards in the past but managed to get my money back. Trouble is, most people are none the wiser and think they've got a bargain!

They are indeed. Something like £10 for the quarter gets you them free.

Wow, that would be a bargain, so long as they're originals as expected, and there's no small print saying they'll send equivalents, or to the first 100 etc.

Could you post us the link to that, or start a new deal post?

Thanks... T

Have bought these from Amazon. Very comfortable and great if you are lying perfectly still. Any movement of leads are noisy- or am I to picky?

No, I find that too.

I bought these the other week from Amazon. The only things that I could actually find to bump the price up were kids sticker books. Got one for £1.28.

What does everyone else use to get to £15?

the ones i got from marketplace were from the seller 'elextric_stuff'....by following the original -vs- fake details on this thread, they seem genuine. - and sound fantastic

Oh dear. I only bought some of these on ebay for £12 on Tuesday. I'm guessing they will be the fake ones. :-(

Haven't received them yet though.

Dont go for these for use on the move. The noise from the leads rubbing on your clothes etc is amplified and really off putting.(Just like the effect you get when you stretch a line between two tin cans) If you are sitting still however the sound is fine with great base for such small speakers.

Sorry bill49mpr, hadn't spotted your post, but fully agree. Nothing to do with being picky, the lead noise on the move is awful.

I bought some CX300s from ebay, cost about a fiver and should have known better. the easiest way to tell they are fakes is that they sound god awful. had to go back to my old sony versions that i was supposed to be replacing. bit of sellotape and they have been ok but im deffinately going for this deal now. great work poster
