Thanks Emma,
Hope it's of use to somebody.
I notice the CX300's have been posted before, they were showing up at about £17 yesterday, but seem to have dropped a few more pounds now.
I've ordered myself a pair, will wait and see what they're like and report back :).

Welcome to the forum FatalSaviour, Sennheiser are minty

Excellent earphones. I'm just using them now, actually. They should be worth around £30 IMHO.

Oh yeah? How's your tunage going? I'm ploughing down Atomic Dog by George Clinton at the mo:thumbsup:

How longs the lead on these? need some for listening to stuff from bed at night when everyones asleep.

only 1 metre but extension leads are cheap enough

Welcome to Hukd's from me too FatalSaviour, nice first post!

I've just bought a set from Amazone for about £8 because the dog chewed my last set. These are great and the only things to fit my ears :)...

If you buy from a 3rd party through Amazon they total at around a tenner after postage.

Thing is though it's impossible to tell if they are the real thing or not from these third partys considering there are quite a few CX300 fakes around.

I have the white set and they are excellent headphones, with rich (but not overbearing) bass and good top-mid response.

great headphones bought a pair last month but wrecked the jack myself by accident on a flight so deffo ordering a new pair cheers

Was this not a better deal when it was £15.40 so eligible for free delivery?

Unless someone can find something for 40p?

Postage and packing showing as £7.65 for me! How does that work?

OOo greg - affiliate link in that URL ;-)

Isn't it time you changed your Xmas Avatar

Does any one know if they come with different size ear buds.

Cheers

Dougan

I see Bio no probs. You can tell the fake ones by the inner ear speakers being inside their housing and the letters being thinner on the real ones and the length of the speaker cable.... There is a picture on ebay to show this :)... They are great by the way and mine came quick from Amazone as well

yes - earbuds come in small, med and large

Many Thanks!

Is it just me that thinks these headphones are pretty poor? I got some for christmas, i mean they are ok, better than standard ipod ones, but bass is bad in them, its hard to get them to stay comfortable, and the sound isnt that great?

I got them from Amazon, so i imagine they must be the real thing. I just wasnt that impressed with them, defo not worth £30 as someone mentioned earlier. If i had to buy some i would spend more money for some slightly better ones.

Generally this brand is excellent, so i was disapointed, i use the HD-25's for DJing, and they are outstanding, but then they were £130. lol

I agree with these, I found them to feel cheap.

My sony erricson in-ear headphones i got for my k800i were better then these (although they cost £20)

I agree too. I can only get decent bass if I hold the buds against my ears. I think it's because my ears are small and I don't get this perfect fit that other people are talking about.

I recently bought a pair of these and have found pretty much the same thing. Good bass is completely dependant on getting a good fit inside your ears. It definately takes a bit of getting used to, especially compared to the way standard ipod earbuds sit in your ear. I'm currently switching between the medium and large buds for the Sennheiser's to find the best fit for me.

I've also found they're not good for walking around in, as they tend to work themselves loose. Great for bus/train/plane journeys though.

Had a pair of these for a few months now.

They are great when you aren't really moving. But when you start walking about in them you will hear all the noises that your body makes, from footsteps to the cable against your body amplified.

The cable on them is also a tacky material which tends to 'stick' unlike regular cable and ends up pulling them out your ears now and then.

well i for one bought these over 6 months ago and they are an awesome pair of earphones

i can walk with them and they never fall out of my ears and i cant hear all the noises people are reporting to hear

i think these are worth much more than £15 and are better than anything in its price range plus more expensive ones. they are a fantastic buy

regards

must be dependent on ear sizes then, i find them a nightmare to walk with... the medium size ear buds dont quite fit well enough (fall out etc, and if pushed in fully then give me a headache i think because they seems to seal the pressure in my ear), and the small ones keep falling out! lol.

Tho bass is ok if i walk around keeping them pushed into my ears with my fingers, however i look like a knobber.

agree about the rubbery material used for the cords - sticky not nice to touch collects dirt etc

I bought some of these last week - they are fantastic. I ended up only paying £6 for them (not from market place) thanks to my Amazon GV from Valued Opinions.

These are £39.99 in Currys - so this is a great buy.

I do agree though - to get a good sound quality they have to be placed properly in your ear canal - it seems a lot of people aren't putting them in properly.
As an alternative...
If people want some good inner earphones - look for the Phillips ones (they are white, £14.99 ish) - I had some of them from Argos and they lasted me years. Very good sound quality.
