Best in earphones on the market under £50 in my opinion and cheap as hell! £29.99 everywhere else I believe.

Seen them around the same price on eBay but I would steer clear off eBay! Fakes galore!

Amazon have price matched - I may get one now as I have some left over GC's from the Bespoke Offer deals.

picked these up from argos last weekend for spares, ..cant beat sennheiser. ..

Heat op. Just reserved.

Recommend getting from argos instead of amazon ... These earphones are prone to break towards the 12 month mark.

Walking into argos for a refund /replacement is super convenient

Bought black for 19.99 on amazon some time ago on a day deal and still not even unpacked them;)

If you happen to live or work by an Argos. I find Amazon way more convenient in every way

I bought a vacuum cleaner from Argos. It broke after 2 months and they flat refused to do anything about it. Eventually trading standards made them replace it. I then bought a vacuum from Amazon which broke after 11 months. The collected it from my house at a time and date convenient for me and gave me a full refund!

Further to my previous comment, I'm wanting a pair of these for use at the gym. I'm going to pay the full price from Amazon with the knowledge that I can return them for a refund should they break at any point within 12 months. Good luck getting even so much as a replacement from Argos. Not worth the time and hassle.

Can you get Amazon to price match...so you don't have to pay full price

Bear in mind these have an asymmetrical cable which may not be to everyone's taste.

they are £39 now on amazon

Just grabbed the last ones in Argos Stirling, cheers OP

Just a heads up.. I've owned 3 or 4 pairs of these headphones. It's inevitable that 1 ear will fail after between 4 and 12 months.

Excellent whilst they work, though.

Bought these from Amazon last time it was posted on here, and I can't get on with them.

The wire feels thin and cheap, its asymmetrical which is an annoyance, keeps falling out of my ears and the sound lacks bass in my opinion.

I can't recommend these at all, unless you have continual disposable income. I've always found as noted that they fail after a few short months and the wires are as flimsy as you'd imagine when you think of the word "flimsy"...

In fact, if anybody can recommend a durable set of portable earphones, please do - I'm tired of dealing with shoddy cheap cables & joints Under £50 would be nice.

To be fair though, this price is sort of OK.

I wouldn't say it's inevitable, I've had a gold pair for a few years that take dogs abuse. I wear them to and from work and the gym or anywhere else I don't like to wear my Shures. I had a black pair before that for ages that I lost. I did have a few pairs of the Mk1 break though, one of the ears and another at the connection.

For the money they cannot be beaten. The Sound Magic E10 are pretty good but once you get used to asymmetrical cables you can never go back to symmetrical.

@junkshez you must be wearing them wrong. These slighty over-emphasise the bass so if there's not enough and they fall out they aren't in your ears right. You have to insert them into your ear. If you're doing that you need to use the bigger rubbers.

Never had a problem returning or getting refunds at argos.. must be your attitude I suppose.

If you buy from amazon themselves and not from private sellers, you will get 100% genuine product.so your claim is false.
it's simple, one just need to note if the amazon link says sold and dispached by amazon or does it say sold by someone else.
If it's amazon, their customer service definitely beats Argos.I've had a few poor customer service experiences when I tried to return something to them..depending on the mood of customer service person, also restricted time limit,un-necessary questions..etc.never any issues with amazon.

had a black pair for about 5 years now. never had any problems. great headphones. great price.

No, it's a now-traditional, known problem, with stuff like Beats, Sennheisers, memory cards (Sandisk etc) and the like.
Ebay are REALLY BAD at policing sellers who just give refunds when they even get detected as selling fakes (many people are ignorant until stung and the seller is out of business by then etc). It's profitable for the sellers, it's profitable for ebay to take their cut and ignore the systematic abuse going on under their noses, but it's the customer who suffers due to the above selfishness on ebay and the fake-sellers' part. Thus, it is important to note the situation to anyone new to it, as the post you replied-to sarcastically did mention...
