First post, cheapest I've seen so far.

why cold?

Few things will always get cold on this site. Sennheisers and Amazon is one. Due to a lot of fakes being sold by independent suppliers (and not Amazon)

Hughes Direct is a reputable seller for 85 years

i bought the cx880's that come up on ere the other day, people where raving about them, really dissapointed with the sound, will be taking them back to Tesco, these are lower spec so maybe the same.

[re. post #4] Sorry, but "In stock. Sold by 2828shop" just rings alarm bells for me.
But for me, £20 from Amazon (directly) would qualify as 'hot'. Thanks for taking the time to post though.

Don't worry about it. People on this site have difficulty with simple things, such as; clicking on the links on the side bar of amazon to get another seller. I think this about the right price for these so I'm not voting.

The CX880 will probably sound better if you "burn them in" for 24 hours. Just leave them plugged in to your mp3 player with an album at a reasonable volume (not so loud that it breaks the headphones) on repeat. It doesn't matter as much with in-ear headphones but some of them sound tinny straight out of the box. They are also "noise isolating" so you need to make sure you have a good fit with your ear and make sure that they are properly in. You need an airtight seal to get the bass.

I think Amazon randomise which seller is listed each time.

@davestavros, when I clicked the side bar Hughes Direct still wasn't listed until I further filtered things down to 'new' only. Since the OP didn't clarify why he was re-posting a link I assumed this new supplier was the reason.

Just to say these headphones are brilliant so long as you get them from a reputable seller (i.e. Hughes direct!!) and the price is very good. They fit perfectly in the ear and don't move at all and the sound quality is very good for the price.

Purchased black ones on weekend for 16.45 and white ones have been seen lower than that. Both through Amazon preferred suppliers. So this is cold.
