All Sennheiser's has no bass . also have Sennheiser HD448 .

Really? How many different model Sennheisers have you purchased/tested to arrive at that sweeping statement?

Bought these instore from Richer Sounds. I do not usually go for in-ear headphones but over ear headphones do not seem to last very long with me so I thought I would give them a go. So, I don't have much experience with in-ears.

First, a negative. The bass is not earth shattering, despite what it says on the box. Actually, the bass can sometimes sound a bit muddy. However, the bass is much better with crisply produced techno/electronic music than with other forms of music. Also, they don't come with any bag or case for carrying or storage.

In other ways, these headphones sound great. They do sound crystal clear in ways I havent heard in headphones at this price. Overall sound is very good. Best of all, they are so comfortable. I have tried in-ear headphones before and was put off them as they were not comfortable for me; these come with three different size buds but the ones attached fit lovely. I can hardly tell I am wearing in ear headphones at all. That helps with the overall sound - they fit so snugly that external sounds are blocked, to an extent and the resultant sound is...big.

Overall, I would recommend these. Not a bargain at this price, but good value.

I voted cold. I bought these and they play higher pitch instruments terribly. The sound break sup and everything. I would expect a decent performance for most sound ranges at this price.

Do they still do lanyard ones? Can't see any on their website. My CXL400's finally died last week

They were excellent for dangling my Sansa Clip Zip on.

with the CX300 but these have slightly better sensitivity then those everything eles is basically the same just looked at the cx300ii an they are basically the same spec wise not sure as I dont have cx300ii to compare with the only thing on the specs I notice different is the sensitivity which is 120dB on the cx475 and on the cx300ii its 113dB (Dont know what this means properly though)

I have these and they are not very good. The white ones pick up all sort of stains and are now pinkish. I have had them less than a year and the right ear piece is so faint and hard to hear.
I won't be buying Jays again.

I've owned the cx300's and can say they are the best pair I've ever had. will be buying a pair of these though as I got my pair caught in a machine last night, heat for this one

These are awful I can't recommend them to anyone. I had the CX300s before these and then I bought this and the CX500s believing them to be a step up but they're just god awful in comparison to the CX300s. Forget these and use your money wisely and get the 300s. Pathetic bass and noise cancellation. Even at £20.00 I can't vote this deal hot.

Fair enough if someone is satisfied with them but if you had the CX300s before this prepare for disappointment.

So are these actually any good?

I have a working pair of earphones at the moment but I think it's always good to have a spare pair.

I am a fan of this brand. Very goo quality sound, good bass, good pricing. I have used the 150's 200's and 300's, I would like to see how good these are. Unfortunately I am using soem SoundMagic's right now, and they're awesome

just bought them and they seem fine. Make sure you try all the ear canal adapters. Sound was not so good with the small, when I put the mediums on , much much better. I wouldn't say the sound is amazing, but as I've not tried the CX300s, couldn't compare. Good enough for £20, I'd say.
